Spider-Man: No Way Home Could Connect To Daredevil’s Next Movie Role

After returning in Spider-Man: No Way Home, Cox’s Daredevil is set to play a major role in the MCU for years to come. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige claimed Daredevil and Spider-Man would lead the MCU’s street-level heroes as the faces of that corner of the shared universe. Disney+’s Echo set up Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin to run for Mayor of New York City in Daredevil: Born Again, with the series set to show how Matt Murdock will react to Wilson Fisk’s new goal.

Cox’s overarching role in the MCU has already started with cameos and supporting roles in multiple projects. His first lead role since returning will likely set up even more stories for Daredevil in the MCU. The Mayor Fisk storyline in Daredevil: Born Again is rumored to lead to Spider-Man 4, with Cox’s Daredevil teaming up with Tom Holland’s Spider-Man. In the comics, Mayor Fisk hunted down NYC’s street-level heroes. A Spider-Man 4 appearance would connect to Daredevil’s Spider-Man: No Way Home cameo, now possibly having the heroes team up for more time and in costume after Daredevil‘s key MCU milestone.
