Actors from the TV shows Charmed and Beverly Hills, 90210 have honored the life of their co-star Shannen Doherty, who died on Saturday, July 13, 2024. The actor passed away following a battle with breast cancer since 2015, having shared her terminal diagnosis back in June 2023. She was best known for her roles as Brenda Walsh on the cast of Beverly Hills, 90210, and as Prue Halliwell in the fantasy drama Charmed. She’s starred in plenty of film roles as well, from Heather Duke in the teen comedy Heathers to Maggie Malene in Girls Just Want to Have Fun.

Now, multiple co-stars throughout Doherty’s career have showcased themselves honoring her life and roles, mourning the loss of their coworker and friend. Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, Charmed star Alyssa Milano explained that, despite differences between the two, she is mourning her loss. Check out Milano’s statement below:

It’s no secret that Shannen and I had a complicated relationship, but at its core was someone I deeply respected and was in awe of. She was a talented actress, beloved by many, and the world is less without her. My condolences to all who loved her.

Carol Potter, who played Cindy Walsh on Beverly Hills, 90210, applauded Doherty in the face of such difficult times, grieving over her death.

Gabrielle Carteris, who was Andera Zuckerman on 90210, made reference to their former co-star Luke Perry, who died in 2019 of a stroke.

Jason Priestley, Brandon Walsh on 90210, posted an image of him and Doherty when they were younger, sending well wishes to her family.

Kevin Smith, who worked with Doherty on the film Mallrats, made a lengthy post about his time knowing her and how much he misses her.

Christopher Landon, whose movie Burning Palms starred Doherty, also grieved her loss, sending love to her friends and family.

Brian Austin Green, who was David Silver on 90210, posted an Instagram story, heartbroken at losing not just a co-star, but a sister.
