The Acolyte introduced numerous new characters to the Star Wars universe, and there may still be a role for them going forward. Set at the tail end of the High Republic, the show features the Jedi at their peak, settled in a much younger Coruscant and wielding immense influence throughout the galaxy. The Acolyte‘s ensemble cast is filled with newly-introduced Jedi heroes, who are still policing their corner of the universe, though they struggle to survive after encountering beings who regularly use the dark side of the Force.
Despite the tragic fate that many of its characters faced, showrunner Leslye Headland hopes to see many of them return in future content. While recognizing that a Kelnacca comic is in progress, Headland speculated about spinoffs for other characters, including Jecki and Yord. With so much of their early lives still a mystery, there is certainly room for comics, shows, or even movies set before The Acolyte. Check out her full explanation below:

The Acolyte
The Acolyte is a television series set in the Star Wars universe at the end of the High Republic Era, where both the Jedi and the Galactic Empire were at the height of their influence. This sci-fi thriller sees a former Padawan reunite with her former Jedi Master as they investigate several crimes – all leading to darkness erupting from beneath the surface and preparing to bring about the end of the High Republic.
