After three consecutive releases of new One Piece chapters, the upcoming chapter will be released after a break in the forthcoming issue of the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. One Piece chapter #1119 surprisingly saw Vegapunk’s broadcast continue, but it proved to be of little value due to its incomprehensibility. Additionally, Bonney’s transformation into Gear Five is hinted at as being merely an illusion.

The highlight of the latest chapter was undoubtedly the Iron Giant’s appearance and striking Saint Topman Warcury, which clearly had an impact that even Luffy couldn’t make. This pivotal moment ensures that Straw Hats will make their escape from Egghead Island without any great losses.

The Iron Giant will probably sacrifice itself to defend Luffy, aka, Joyboy. However, not before a seemingly significant conversation is shared between the robot and Luffy. Consequently, One Piece chapter #1120 has the potential to explore the mysteries of Joyboy, precisely, why the Iron Giant is so devoted to him. Considering there is a break before the newest chapter is released, the patience for its release will surely be agonizing.

What Happened in One Piece Chapter #1119?

The Iron Giant Finally Makes A Move

Before diving into the main focus, One Piece chapter #1119, “Emet”, explores Stussy parting from Kaku after he directs her to leave without any explanation. As the giants are excited to see two Sun Gods, Saint Marcus Mars remarks that Bonney’s transformation is just an illusion and begins to breathe fire on the ship. Having already confronted the Five Elders, Luffy informs the others that a normal attack won’t work on the monster and, therefore, he has another strategy in mind.

Luffy directs the others to attack him with all they have got instead, which consequently sees Sanji, Franky, and Bonney attack Luffy, during which, it is also confirmed that Bonney can also use Haki. With all the pressure building up on his rubbery body, Luffy uses a new technique called “Dawn Balloon”, that propels Marcus miles away. As the giant’s ship is free from pursuit, the ship’s departure awaits the onboarding of the remaining Straw Hats resulting in Atlas volunteering to go and look for them alongside Lilith. Meanwhile, Vegapunk’s broadcast continues as the Iron Giant is seen on its feet again.

Though the broadcast continues, the message is incomprehensible as it continues to break. Luffy and the others come back into focus as the Navy officers rain down from the sky. It is revealed that Shepherd Ju Peter is the reason for it and upon witnessing that the Straw Hats are leaving, he begins to suck the ship towards himself, but Luffy punches him away. Unfortunately, Topman Warcury gets the opportunity to get past Luffy and charge the ship. As the chapter comes to an end, before Warcury collides with the ship, Iron Giant appears and punches him, breaking the boar monster’s horn.

What Will Happen In One Piece Chapter #1120?

As the Iron Giant Might Reveal His Connection to Joyboy, Zoro & Nusjuro Could Clash Their Swords Once More

Zoro ready to fight with all his three swords with a background of Nusjuro looking over Zoro

With not one, but two of the Five Elders seemingly out of play, Marcus being propelled miles away and Warcury apparently being knocked out by the Iron Giant, the Straw Hats and their allies have a greater opportunity to escape from the island. Whereas, Shepherd Ju Peter won’t be able to stop the ship from escaping as his expertise lies on the ground and not on the sea. Since Usopp’s group’s safety is still uncertain and is the only puzzle remaining about the escape, One Piece chapter #1120 will likely focus on their situation, besides diving deeper into the Iron Giant’s secrets.

Another clash between Zoro and Nusjuro is a high possibility as the group will rush to get out of their current predicament. This encounter might reveal more about Nusjuro’s possible connection to Wano and how it will play a crucial part in the confrontation between Zoro and Nusjuro in the final battle. Assuming Zoro and the others will likely get out of Nusjuro’s grab without anything great in return, One Piece chapter #1120 might conclude with the Straw Hats successfully leaving the island.
