Steven Spielberg’s Jurassic Park has been named the best summer blockbuster ever. Released in June 1993, Jurassic Park marked Spielberg’s follow-up to the divisive Hook in 1991. The film, which was a critical and commercial success, chronicles an ill-fated visit to a dinosaur theme park, with a cast that includes Sam Neill, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum, and Richard Attenborough.

Now, Fandango shares on X, formerly Twitter, that Jurassic Park has been named the best summer blockbuster of all time, according to a new, 2,000-person survey.

While 2,000 people isn’t the largest of sample sizes, the results of the survey certainly speak to Jurassic Park‘s enduring legacy. The Spielberg flick beats out the likes of Avengers: Endgame, Raiders of the Lost Ark, and Star Wars: A New Hope. Check out Fandango’s full top 10 below:
