One of the best weather disaster movies, Twister features an incredible soundtrack with songs from different genres. Directed by Jan de Bont and starring Helen Hunt as Jo and Bill Paxton as Bill, Twister follows a group of meteorologists as they try to figure out how to build an early tornado warning system. More than two decades after the 1996 movie was released, a sequel titled Twisters is set for release in theaters on July 19, 2024. Whether it’ll be able to deliver a soundtrack as impressive as its predecessor, though, remains to be seen.
