The Book of Boba Fett star Temuera Morrison has planned his payback on The Mandalorian after an episode of the former. As of The Book of Boba Fett‘s ending, Morrison’s titular character underwent a significant character arc. More so, the events of the show blended massively with The Mandalorian, allowing The Book of Boba Fett‘s cast to have both new and familiar faces. Naturally, one of these faces belonged to Din Djarin of The Mandalorian, an appearance that teased further team-ups for upcoming Star Wars TV shows.

Given Din’s integral role in The Book of Boba Fett, Morrison has spoken at MCM London Comic-Con (via Yahoo! News) about how he can get payback on The Mandalorian. Morrison jokingly regarded how Pedro Pascal’s Din Djarin stole an episode of The Book of Boba Fett and outlined how he intends to return the favor. Speaking about future potential crossovers, Morrison had this to say:

“I would actually like my character to visit The Mandalorian, the Mando fort or something, and come in there and kick some real serious a** as well. The way he did and came into my show, and stole an episode of my show — so I’d like to do the same thing.”

Unfortunately, it may be too late for Temuera Morrison to carry out his planned payback. The reason for this stems from recent updates about The Mandalorian‘s sub-franchise. It was expected that The Mandalorian season 4 would be the next story for Din Djarin, which likely would have allowed Morrison to return in an episode as Boba Fett. That said, The Mandalorian season 4 is unclear as the character moves to the big screen. 2026 will see the release of The Mandalorian & Grogu, a Star Wars movie that will have a shorter runtime and thus a lower possibility of cameos.

This means that Morrison’s planned payback of stealing an episode of The Mandalorian is unlikely. If Morrison’s Boba Fett appears in The Mandalorian & Grogu, the inherent format of movie stories means he will not overshadow Pascal’s Din Djarin. This would be different in a TV show that allows for different stories from different points of view, as was shown with Din’s appearance in The Book of Boba Fett. Unfortunately for Morrison, this means he may not get the chance to take over an episode of The Mandalorian as he so desires.
