  • Boruto Managed to Significantly Improve the Technique of the Second Hokage
  • Boruto’s Improvements Also Made Use of the Summoning Technique

Boruto Two Blue Vortex chapter #11 perfectly demonstrates how much more powerful and skilled the series’ protagonist is than his peers. Not only was he able to save his sister and best friend from certain death, but he also managed to evade two of the most powerful villains in the franchise. Thanks to his extensive training, Boruto has become one of the most skilled shinobi in the world.

Yet, one small but significant detail proves that Naruto’s son has advanced more than fans of the series initially thought. Boruto’s ingenious mind has developed a simple but outstandingly effective manner to make the Flying Raijin Jutsu, one of the franchise’s best techniques, stronger.

By creating objects with different shapes to use as teleportation points, the young man has increased the effectiveness of the technique.

Despite Two Blue Vortex’s efforts to breathe new life into the Boruto franchise, there remains a significant issue that hinders its full potential.

Boruto Managed to Significantly Improve the Technique of the Second Hokage

The young shinobi surpassed the genius of his grandfather

The Flying Raijin Jutsu is one of the most versatile and useful skills a ninja can learn. By marking an object with the necessary symbols, the user of this technique can instantly teleport from any location to where the branded object is located. This Jutsu was invented by the Second Hokage, a brilliant man known for the many techniques he developed. Still, the one who completely mastered the technique was no other than Boruto’s grandfather, Minato Namikaze. The Fourth Hokage managed to use this technique in incredibly inventive ways, becoming one of his signature abilities.

Minato managed to improve on the Second Hokage’s technique by marking several special kunai with the necessary symbols. By doing this, Naruto’s father was able to teleport anywhere he needed instantly by simply throwing his weapon to the spot. Throughout the original series, this ability was proven to be incredibly powerful, although it had a severe limitation. Due to all the Kunai being similar, it seemed as if Minato could only use one at a time effectively. While he could still use more than one, this likely made it difficult for him to know where he would teleport to.

In an amazing display of intelligence, Boruto created a solution that allowed him to overcome this obstacle. In chapter #11, the young man is informed by one of his toads about the location of Sarada Uchiha. For him to save Sasuke’s daughter, Boruto needed to teleport to that spot immediately. Seconds before Naruto’s son uses the Flying Rajin Jutsu, the toad tells him that the shape he needs to think about is square, implying that there Boruto uses differently shaped objects to know where to move.

Boruto’s Improvements Also Made Use of the Summoning Technique

Besides creating different shapes to help him teleport to different locations without any issues, Boruto also made innovative use of his summons. By having his toads be the ones to hold the marked objects needed for the Flying Raijin Jutsu, the Uzumaki heir eliminated the need for him to have already traveled to that spot. Unlike Minato, who needed to see the place in which he would throw his kunai before using the technique, Boruto doesn’t need a line of sight.

What’s more, seeing as the young man can communicate from long distances with his toads, he is always aware of what is occurring at the location he will teleport. Boruto took one of the most efficient Jutsu in the history of the Shinobi world and improved it significantly. While the maximum distance that the boy can travel is unknown, his new Flying Raijin Jutsu is still the most effective way of traveling in the franchise.

This was made clear in chapter #11, by proving that Boruto could use this skill to not only save his sister, who was completely overwhelmed by Jura, but also Sarada within seconds. In the past, it would have been impossible for someone as young as Naruto’s son to accomplish such a monumental task. Boruto Two Blue Vortex has already demonstrated how resourceful and brilliant its protagonist can be, but this may be the best example of how smart the young man can be. The Uzumaki heir is set to become one of the most important individuals in the Hidden Leaf Village’s history.

Boruto Two Blue Vortex’s latest chapters have been filled with amazing surprises for fans of the franchise. The protagonist of the series is still proving himself to be among the best ninjas to have ever lived. Even the small and seemingly inconspicuous details are important parts of discovering how clever and adaptive Boruto became during his training with Sasuke.
