While the subsequent events that follow put Mike and Harvey at odds, there’s no denying that it’s an absolute treat every time they’re on the screen. In any case, this isn’t the first time that they are at odds. Conflicts have always been a part of their dynamic, even when they were still working together. However, as fun as it is watching them fight, laugh, or have any kind of interaction is a reminder of the core appeal of the legal show, which is their relationship. Effectively, it emphasizes that Suits should have ended in season 7 when Mike left.

While there are some great moments past Mike’s departure, the reality is that Suits is just never the same after he’s gone. Every storyline pales in comparison to its earliest years when Mike and Harvey worked as a unit.
