After a spectacular first season, Oshi no Ko is finally returning for season 2 and has revealed a brand-new trailer ahead of its release date. Oshi no Ko‘s highly anticipated second season is only a few days away and the excitement surrounding its release has now grown even more with its newest trailer and the revelation of season 2’s opening and ending theme artists.

Season 2 of Oshi no Ko is set to release on July 3, 2024. In anticipation of the same, a new trailer was posted on Oshi no Ko‘s official X handle and official YouTube channel featuring the new ending theme for season 2 called “Burning” performed by Hitsujibungaku, a popular Japanese rock band.

Meanwhile, the opening theme for season 2 is called “Fatal” and will be performed by GEMM, a duo consisting of Kento Nakajima and Tatsuya Kitani, the latter of which is best known for his performance in Jujutsu Kaisen’s season 2 opening as well as the opening theme for Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War.

Season 2 Will Adapt the Exciting 2.5D Stage Play Arc

The new trailer for season 2 of Oshi no Ko features several key characters like Akane, Ruby, and Aqua as they rehearse for the stage play adaptation of Tokyo Blade. The trailer also teases new characters like Abiko and other actors from the Lala Lai Theatrical Company, which Aqua suspects is at the core of the mystery surrounding his father and Ai’s death.
