Warning! Spoilers ahead for The Flash #10!Circumstances may have forced them apart, but the Flash Family finally reunites for an amazing, one-page shot. The DC Universe is under threat and speedsters have been blamed for the ensuing chaos. But when things are finally cleared up, the team comes back together with the exception of a surprising hero.

In The Flash #10 by Simon Spurrier, Vasco Georgiev, and Ramon Perez, Jai West, Pied Piper and Inspector Pilgrim try to figure out the speedster situation. Jai comes to the conclusion that Flash and his allies were never putting the DCU in danger and are being framed by the Arc Angles.

Knowing that Jai is right, Inspector Pilgrim decides to free the speedsters he’s imprisoned. At the same time, Flash Barry Allen is fighting Green Arrow, now an agent of Amanda Waller. The fight comes to a quick conclusion when every speedster, except for Wally West, takes Green Arrow down.

The Flash Family is Back in Action in One Amazing Moment

Inspector Pilgrim Speedster and Chrononaut Prison DC

In the last few months, strange aberrations began popping up across Earth. Inspector Pilgrim had been warned by a godlike race of beings known as the Arc Angles that speedsters were responsible for these destructive cosmic phenomena. While the Arc Angles wanted the speedsters gone permanently, Pilgrim couldn’t bring himself to do that as he was the Flash’s son and cared deeply for his family. Instead, Pilgrim arrested every speedster he could and kept them in Pilgrim’s base while he tried to figure out a way to save the DC Universe and the Flash Family.

The Flash Family hasn’t been together since Pilgrim began arresting the various speedsters, but they jump right back into hero mode without missing a step. As cool as this moment is, it’s strangely missing one crucial character: Wally West. He’s been missing in the SpectraVerse ever since a possessed Barry Allen stranded him in the hidden layers of reality as part of a plan to weaponize Wally. While West is still MIA, the rest of the speedsters have things taken care of. Whatever cosmic strangeness comes next, the Flash Family is ready to face it head-on.

For whatever reason, the Arc Angles wanted the Flash and every other speedster off the board. Unfortunately for them, Jai has helped clear things up and the Flash Family knows they’re not the problem. While they still need to reconnect with Wally, the rest of the team is back and operating at full speed. The next challenge they face may be one of their most powerful (mighty enough to destroy the DCU at least). But as long as the Flash has his family at his back, there’s nothing the team can’t overcome.

The Flash #10 is available now from DC Comics.

Barry Allen as The Flash Running in Comic Art

The Flash

The Flash is the superhero name given to the DC Comics character who utilizes unparalleled speed tied to a dimensional power known as the “speed force” to overwhelm their opposition. Premiering in 1939, the original Flash arrived as Jay Garrick. Still, it would be superseded by Barry Allen in popularity and featured status, but the Flash is one character that has met many of their alternate selves. The character is typically seen as a part of the Justice League in nearly all incarnations.
