Preparations for That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime‘s grand festival are in full swing, and the sudden arrival of a surprising guest has given Rimuru some great ideas for attractions that can draw people into visiting Tempest. Episode 14 will rope Veldora into the situation, adding the cherry on top of Rimuru’s plans.

Much of the previous episode was spent talking to Ramiris, a fellow demon lord, who decided that she wanted to move to Tempest. Ramiris first attempted to set up a house without permission, but got caught immediately. However, talking to her and making note of her ability to create labyrinths gave Rimuru an idea. Ramiris and Rimuru strike up a deal to generate a dungeon for traveling adventurers to challenge, creating what they hope will be the first major tourist attraction in the nation of Tempest.

What Happened in That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 3, Episode 13?

Rimuru Comes Up with a Fantasy Tourist Trap

Reincarnated as a Slime: The Elven queen Elmesia of the Sorcerous Dynasty of Thalion sits on her throne.

Episode 13 of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime season 3 saw Ramiris, a fairy-like Demon Lord, attempting to set up shop inside Tempest, only to be caught by the guards almost immediately. While initially unenthused by her presence, Rimuru realized that Ramiris’s ability to create extradimensional labyrinths could prove to be a major advantage. As a result, the two Demon Lords worked out a deal: Rimuru will allow Ramiris and her followers to live in Tempest if Ramiris creates a 100-floor dungeon under their new arena, where adventurers can challenge monsters and potentially earn great treasure.

The episode also spent some time showing some of the VIPs, including the King of Dwargon Gazel. Gazel still trusts Rimuru, but many around him are encouraging caution when dealing with a Demon Lord that may have surpassed him in power. The story also checked in with the Empress of the Sorcerous Dynasty of Thalion, Elmesia, who also received an invitation to Tempest’s grand festival. Elmesia proved she’s quite shrewd, realizing the advantage that building the roads through Tempest would be for Rimuru. Ultimately, Elmesia admitted they had no choice but to attend the festival.

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 3, Episode 14 is About Labyrinths and Storm Dragons

Rimuru Enlists Veldora in His Dungeon Scheme

The fairy-like Demon Lord Ramiris gloats about her new job, while a dismayed slime looks on.

The title of season 3, episode 14 of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime is “Labyrinth and Storm Dragon,” which pretty well telegraphs what the episode will be about. According to chapter 104 of the manga, Rimuru and Ramiris will set about creating the dungeon that they discussed in this episode, filling it with monsters. But any good dungeon needs a boss, and who better to act as the final boss of a 100-floor dungeon than the Storm Dragon himself, Veldora? Veldora’s very presence will create monsters thanks to his massive store of magicules, allowing them to have complete control over the dungeon.

Fans can also expect a special appearance by yet another Demon Lord: Milim. Milim is unsurprisingly bothering Rimuru to try to get out of doing things she doesn’t want to do, as is often the case. Still, even Milim can come in useful when it comes to constructing a massive dungeon like this one, and no one knows better about dragons than one of the few True Dragons in the world. They’ll also fill the dungeon with valuable magical items crafted by Kurobe to sweeten the deal and draw in adventurers with the promise of treasure.

The day of the festival creeps ever closer, and preparations for that day are in full swing. With the arena, a labyrinthine 100-floor dungeon, theatrical performances and incredible hospitality, Rimuru’s festivities are certain to be the talk of the world. While Rimuru’s VIP guests may be a bit nervous about this, it seems like That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime is going to throw the party of the century.
