Ahead of the release of Daredevil: Born Again, a fan-made poster gifts Matt Murdock’s Devil of Hell’s Kitchen a vibrant new superhero suit. Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock has sported several different looks since debuting in Netflix’s Daredevil series, and he is set to get a new makeover for his return to the MCU in Daredevil: Born Again, set to premiere in March 2025. While his striking new superhero suit is perhaps the most comic-accurate costume he’s worn in live-action, he could still see some upgrades making him more faithful to his Marvel Comics counterpart.

Some of these upgrades have been depicted in a new fan-made poster for Daredevil: Born Again shared by soloauthority. This poster depicts Matt Murdock in a more grounded, ninja-like costume, fit with a sort of utility belt, Daredevil’s signature batons, a flowing scarf, and his iconic horned helmet.

Soloauthority’s poster utilizes the newly-revealed title card for Daredevil: Born Again, including the new Marvel Television branding for all upcoming MCU TV shows. It also puts Murdock’s super-sense abilities front-and-center, with waves of energy emanating from his head.

Daredevil’s New MCU Costume Is Still Missing 1 Important Element From Marvel Comics

Revealed in February 2024, set photos from the production of Daredevil: Born Again (via DDevilUpdates) unveiled a first look at Charlie Cox’s new Daredevil costume. The suit in Born Again will be a brighter red than those depicted in Netflix’s Daredevil series and Echo, while the yellow-and-red look from She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is nowhere to be seen. However, there is still a major piece of Daredevil’s Marvel Comics costume missing from this live-action suit, as Marvel Studios has neglected to include the iconic “DD” logo on Daredevil’s chest.

Soloauthority’s poster for Daredevil: Born Again includes this “DD” logo, reflecting the fact that the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen’s suit is almost always adorned with this emblem in Marvel Comics. Many want to see Charlie Cox’s Daredevil receive this upgrade in the MCU, making his already-popular depiction even more comic-accurate. However, it’s possible that this emblem could look silly in live-action, perhaps prompting Marvel Studios to simply remove it in favor of a sleeker and more modern design.

Daredevil’s 5 MCU Costumes Ranked

Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock returned in Echo, and with the new series, Daredevil now has 5 exciting MCU costumes, though some are better than others.

Charlie Cox has done a fantastic job at showcasing all of Daredevil’s talents, even without the logo engraved on his chest. The “DD” certainly isn’t a necessity for the character, though there are still hopes that Daredevil: Born Again will somehow find a way to gift Daredevil this logo in a way that makes sense for the story. It would be out of character for him to ask for this emblem to be engraved, but perhaps Matt Murdock’s embracing of his role as a bona fide superhero could give him a new sense of pride.
