The Despicable Me franchise is back with another adventure for Gru and the Minions, and there are different options for where to watch Despicable Me 4. When Will Despicable Me 4 Release On Streaming?
Despicable Me 4 Will Stream On Peacock
No official streaming release date for Despicable Me 4 has been announced so far, but the movie will stream on Peacock first, thanks to it being a Universal and Illumination production. It is possible to predict the film’s streaming debut based on the studios’ history. Universal waits about 90 days on average to move a film from theaters to streaming, but Illumination movies typically take longer. The Super Mario Bros. Movie and Migration took around 120 days, for example. Despicable Me 4‘s streaming release date could be in October 2024 if the pattern holds.
When Will Despicable Me 4 Release On Digital?
No Release Date Is Confirmed
Universal has not announced when Despicable Me 4‘s digital release will happen, but the studio has a standard schedule for when its biggest movies make it to PVOD services. Looking at Illumination’s movies in particular, a digital release for The Super Mario Bros. Movie and Migration happened a little more than a month, or 41 and 32 days exactly, after they hit theaters. Despicable Me 4 could release on digital in August 2024 if a similar schedule happens. The only way it happens sooner is if Despicable Me 4 doesn’t hit at the box office.
