With Brainiac and a brainwashed Supergirl having conquered numerous planets and killed many warriors in the name of Brainiac’s new Kryptonian Empire, a battle between Superman and a genuine Green Lantern has been set up. In My Adventures With Superman season 3 or even sooner, Superman could meet another Green Lantern who recognizes him as a Kryptonian and attacks him, under the assumption that he is a conqueror like Brainiac and Supergirl. Season 2, episode 6 seemingly ends with Superman being brainwashed by Brainiac, so he may be sent to other worlds that are protected by the Green Lantern Corps.

This could result in Superman defeating lesser-known or original Green Lantern characters, but if he is tasked with conquering Earth, he could easily find himself battling an A-list Green Lantern, such as Hal Jordan or John Stewart. If this is the case, Superman could lose the fight, especially given the comic source material’s precedent for elite Green Lanterns being capable of defeating him. This may be for the best, as Superman being subdued by a hero like Hal Jordan or John Stewart would perhaps create an opening to return him to his right mind and give him a new ally.
