One of spring 2024’s most popular anime, Wind Breaker, has just been confirmed to receive a second installment coming very soon. The hit series managed to attract an audience and performed much better than expected, so a sequel is very much deserved.
As per a press release from Crunchyroll and the official X/Twitter account of the series, Wind Breaker is receiving a season 2 following the finale.
Although there was no teaser trailer accompanying the announcement, it was confirmed that Wind Breaker season 2 will be released in 2025. More information will be released in due time, but this news is exciting given how excellent the first season was.

Wind Breaker Is Coming To Crunchyroll Very Soon
This delinquent series was one of the most anticipated anime series of this season, and its 3 month run proved to be a very successful one. Much isn’t known about the upcoming season but the fact that it is airing next year means that it will be about 12 or 13 episodes. This is made more credible given the fact that the studio behind the series, Cloverworks, usually does one cour seasons with Spy X Family, Horimiya and the Promised Neverland being the most obvious examples.
