Nobody 2 now has a director and a release date. Released in 2021 and directed by Ilya Naishuller, Nobody stars Bob Odenkirk as Hutch Mansell, a seemingly ordinary father who is forced to dig up his violent past after a traumatizing home invasion. The movie was a hit both critically and commercially, and it’s now been confirmed that Nobody 2 is on the way. The sequel is set to hail from writer Derek Kolstad, who also penned the original.

A new report from Deadline reveals that Nobody 2 has now found its director with Timo Tjahjanto. Tjahjanto has proven chops in the action genre, having recently directed The Night Comes for Us for Netflix. Nobody 2 also now has a release date, with the Odenkirk sequel scheduled to bow in theaters on August 15, 2025.

More to come…
