After initially facing a release delay, the next Karate Kid movie has wrapped filming.

Nearly three months after production began on the next theatrical installment of the franchise, Ralph Macchio took to Instagram to confirm the next Karate Kid movie has wrapped filming.

The post, as seen above, features a special set photo from the final season of Cobra Kai, which was taken by Miguel actor Xolo Maridueña and shows Macchio’s Daniel LaRusso donning the iconic Miyagi headband. Macchio goes on in the caption to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the release of the original Karate Kid movie, while also confirming he has wrapped filming on both the next movie and Cobra Kai season 6.
