The cast of Netflix’s Trigger Warning features more than a dozen key stars. The new action-thriller movie was in development for some time before its 2024 streaming premiere, having been originally acquired in 2016 by Thunder Road Films before it was picked up by Netflix in 2020. Originally a spec script by John Brancato and Josh Olson, who were later joined by Halley Gross for the finished project, the movie was helmed by Mouly Surya, who is best known for Indonesian dramas and thrillers including her 2008 debut Fiksi.

The cast of the new Netflix movie is jam-packed with familiar faces. This includes stars from well-known movies from throughout the history of modern cinema, ranging from the 1980s through the 2000s and the modern era. Trigger Warning also includes a fresh face who will be familiar from another recent action hit from the streamer as well as a recent box office hit, alongside a cadre of veteran character actors and up-and-coming stars from across both the big and small screens.
