Everything We Know About Star Trek: Prodigy Season 2

Star Trek: Prodigy season 2 joins season 1’s episodes on Netflix in summer 2024 so that all 40 episodes will be available on the streamer.

Star Trek: Prodigy Season 2 Will Complete The Story Season 1 Began

Prodigy will also tie into every other version of Star Trek

Star Trek: Prodigy executive producers Kevin and Dan Hageman and Aaron J. Waltke have stated that Star Trek: Prodigy season 2 will conclude the epic story that began in season 1, with the door left open if Netflix orders Star Trek: Prodigy season 3. They also promised Star Trek: Prodigy season 2 will tie into every other iteration of Star Trek. Judging by what was glimpsed in Star Trek: Prodigy season 2’s trailer, the scope is indeed ambitious, with time travel at the center of the USS Voyager-A encountering new alien species and planets – and even the return of the USS Protostar.

CBS Studios’ press release also noted that The Diviner (John Noble), Drednok (Jimmi Simpson), Doctor Noum (Jason Alexander), Admiral Edward Jellico (Ronny Cox), and a new character named Maj’el (Michaela Dietz) – a nice tribute to Majel Barrett Roddenberry – will be part of Star Trek: Prodigy season 2. Netflix releasing all 20 Star Trek: Prodigy season 2 episodes on the same day is a historic first for the Star Trek franchise, but Prodigy‘s dedicated fan base that got the series picked up by Netflix in the first place are sure to repeatedly binge Prodigy in hopes of securing a season 3 order. Star Trek: Prodigy season 2 is, no doubt, the Star Trek event of the summer.
