The actor simply has the exact comedic qualities that are needed to bring Deadpool to life. Reynolds’ sense of humor and Deadpool’s are one and the same, with the latest gin ad serving to spotlight that, no matter which medium Reynolds appears in, he remains consistent when it comes to his jokes and charismatic nature. Reynolds is Deadpool, plain and simple. Like Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, I can’t imagine someone else playing Deadpool.

While I was not a fan of the movie or what it did to Deadpool, and so did Reynolds, their chemistry was undeniable.

Deadpool & Wolverine will most likely be the highest-grossing movie in the Deadpool franchise, but it also has every element needed to be the very best in Reynolds’ superhero trilogy. The movie seems to be the big multiversal adventure that I wanted Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness to be. While that film visited different universes, it did not delve into the possibilities the multiverse affords save for a few scenes, like the Illuminati sequence and the discovery of an incursion.

Deadpool & Wolverine is rumored to feature characters from all over the Fox Marvel films. I am very curious to see who will pop up, as are most fans, raising excitement for the film. Deadpool & Wolverine also sees Jackman don the yellow and blue Wolverine suit for the first time in almost 25 years of playing Logan and brings both Wolverine and Reynolds’ Deadpool into the MCU for the first time. With the duo sharing the screen, their introduction to the MCU, and keeping the franchise’s R-rated status, Deadpool & Wolverine should be the best Deadpool movie yet.
