What Happened In Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter #10?

Himawari Channels Kurama’s Power While Sarada Faces a Clone of Sasuke

Titled “Kernel”, the chapter starts with Kawaki being informed that Himawari is being targeted by Jura, and he quickly starts dashing to her location. Meanwhile, Jura and Hidari split up, with Jura going after Himawari and Hidari staying there. Konohamaru confronts him, but Hidari’s attention is quickly stolen when he notices that Sarada joins the fray. He immediately launches a Chidori at her but Sarada, using her Sharingan, instinctively dodges and hits him with her own Chidori.

Himawari and Kurama continue their conversation, and he tells her the circumstances of his revival and how she is the best Jinchuriki he’s had so far. While Ino-Shika-Cho is desperately evading Jura’s attacks, Himawari and Kurama become friends and thus their union is set in stone. Himawari attacks Jura, but she is easily stopped, and her leg is snapped in two. Shocked, Inojin lunges at her and tries to fight off Jura and protect Himawari.

“More than Even Naruto’s” – Boruto Confirms Himawari Has Already Surpassed Her Dad in One Big Way

Himawari has been revealed to have received a huge advantage over her father in a very important way in the latest Boruto chapters.

Unfortunately, after multiple attempts at sparing them, Jura pierces Inojin’s chest with a tree and seemingly kills the young boy. Like how Naruto’s rage took over him when Pain harmed Hinata, Himawari bursts with anger. Her hair is split into nine, and her eyes resemble those of Kurama, meaning that she finally tapped into her Nine-Tails chakra.

Multiple Battles Will Unfold in Chapter #11

What makes the next chapter extremely exciting is that it can go many ways. It has already been confirmed that Himawari’s fight with Jura will be continued, and fans will be treated to an epic and destructive battle between the two. Furthermore, if Himawari survives, she will undoubtedly be one of the figureheads of the series going forward, as she has the power to take on Boruto: Two Blue Vortex‘s new villains.

The preview of the chapter teased that something big will happen with Sarada, and this is another thing fans should be excited about. Her Mangekyo Sharingan is something readers have been waiting for her to use since it debuted, and now it’s the perfect time. Her reaction to a mimic of her father will also be interesting to see, and how she reacts in the face of such a distressing situation will massively influence her character development.

Other possibilities are Boruto dealing with the Karma, Kawaki making his way to Himawari, and possibly a cameo from Eida or Daemon, given they have already appeared once momentarily. However, one thing fans have been excited about is the appearance of the fan-favorite villain, Momoshiki Otsutsuki, the thorn in Boruto’s side.

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Is Filled With Shocking Reveals & Great Character Moments

Chapter #10 was a great chapter that showcased that the series was bigger than just Boruto. It laid the groundwork for other characters like Himawari, Sarada, and potentially Konohamaru to receive more screen time in the future. With each of the four villains targeting a different person, it is safe to say that Eida and Daemon will also be pulled into the story, shining the spotlight on the series’ many fascinating characters.

The series taking the focus away from Naruto and Sasuke has proven to be a great decision, and the next generation can now finally shine. It seems that Boruto: Naruto Next Generations was merely a build-up for Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, and it has proven to be more than successful. The future is bright for the series, and there’s a lot more amazing content on the way.
