Fast & Furious 11 gets a new tease from Vin Diesel, who shares some concept art of a snowy action scene. Diesel most recently returned as Dom Toretto for Fast X last year, which chronicled his team’s showdown against the villainous Dante (Jason Momoa). Fast & Furious 11 filming is now expected to get underway later this year, with the upcoming sequel – potentially the the final installment in the long-running franchise – set to hit theaters next year.

Diesel now takes to Instagram to share a new piece of concept art from Fast & Furious 11, teasing that the new film will feature a car action sequence in a snowy location. Check it out below:

Happy Father’s Day to you all,” Diesel writes in his caption. “While location scouting in Europe for Riddick, the concept art from Fast X part 2 keeps pouring in… wait until you see the American road trip.” The art features Dom’s iconic Chevy Chevelle SS vehicle in a snow-covered landscape, but unfortunately there are no hints in the image as to the exact location or context of the scene in question.

How Fast & Furious 11’s Snow Sequence Could Connect To Fast X

Will The Agency Black Site Be Returning?

Warning! Spoilers ahead for Fast X.

While Diesel’s post doesn’t give away too much, it’s possible that the Fast and Furious 11 snow sequence is connected to scenes in Fast X. Most of the Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) storyline in the previous installment takes place in Antarctica as she’s held captive in a black site. After a showdown between Letty and Cipher (Charlize Theron), the Fast X ending sees both characters escape into the snowy tundra where they eventually come into contact with Gisele (Gal Gadot), who was previously thought to be dead.

Fast & Furious Secretly Explained How Gisele Is Alive 8 Years Before Fast X’s Reveal

Gisele turning up at the end of Fast X isn’t really that surprising when you notice the Fast & Furious writers hinted to her return 8 years ago.

The ending of Fast X leaves things on a cliffhanger for multiple characters, meaning it’s possible that Fast & Furious 11 will pick up the action without any kind of time jump. Since Dom is sure to survive the events at the dam, he could end up eventually heading to Antarctica to reunite with Letty and Gisele. It’s also possible that the black site they escaped from has additional secrets inside its walls, potentially making it worthy of further exploration.

On the other hand, it’s entirely possible that Fast & Furious 11‘s snowy action scene has nothing to do with Fast X. It’s been reported that the upcoming installment will go back to the franchise’s roots with more grounded action, and this could mean that Dom and other Fast X characters are instead somewhere less exotic, such as a rural area of Colorado in the winter time. Many questions remain about Fast & Furious 11, but it certainly seems like audiences are in for at least one snow-heavy action sequence.
