Demon Slayer‘s latest season, the Hashira Training, has announced that episodes #7 and #8 will be the final ones of the season, and they will both receive an extended runtime. This latest Demon Slayer installment has featured many changes and additions to the manga, and the finale of the series has been confirmed to include even more.
Season 4 is adapting the short Hashira Training arc that lasted only a few chapters in the manga, and thus the anime was set to stretch the arc and include bonus scenes. This was well received given that the additions proved to be insightful and flowed naturally into the main story.
Two more episodes remain, and it has been officially confirmed that episode #7 and the finale, episode #8 will be twice and thrice as long as the average anime episode.

Demon Slayer Ends With a Bang Ahead of the Next Big Arc
Demon Slayer‘s finale has historically run for an hour, but this time, even the second-to-last episode will be extended. This makes sense given how this season of Demon Slayer has contained nothing but original scenes. Tanjiro’s training with the Stone Hashira will wrap up in the coming one or two episodes, and it is very likely that the finale will introduce the long-awaited Infinity Castle arc, the series’ best and most intense one yet.
