But Jai has figured out how to use congealed space-time to expand his powers and track down the Flash, who has been missing for days.

Inspector Pilgrim is forced to leave to retrieve Jai’s baby brother Wade. Unfortunately for Pilgrim, Flash’s son uses one of his speed conduits to access the speedster prison Pilgrim has been building, causing Jai to angrily demand answers from the mysterious Inspector.

Flash’s Son’s Powers are Getting Stronger and Creepier

Inspector Pilgrim and Jai Talking DC

In a shockingly short amount of time, the Flash’s world has been turned upside down. After gaining the new power to ‘side-step’ through various layers of reality, Wally West became hooked on interdimensional travel. But while Wally was out exploring the SpectraVerse, his family life was falling apart. Jai, in particular, was suffering because he’d developed a power he didn’t know how to handle. Flash’s son can create fleshy, puppet-like conduits and travel between them and any other speedster. The stresses of his new power forced him to reveal to Flash that Jai doesn’t want to a superhero.

Flash’s son has never shown any particular leanings towards super-villainy (other than saying he doesn’t want to follow in his dad’s footsteps). But his powers have only grown since he discovered his quantum entanglement powers. Not only can he transport between other speedsters and his man-made conduits, now Jai can use his power to locate speedsters no matter where they are in any dimension. That’s a pretty neat power that could come in handy for DC’s speedsters. But it’d also be a frightening power if Flash’s offspring decides being a villain is more his speed.

Jai Confesses He Doesn't Want to be a Superhero DC

Out of all the members of the Flash Family, Jai has had some of the biggest struggles. While he seems to be committed to his family, his power set could make him quite intimidating if he were a bad guy. There would be nowhere a speedster could hide from Jai and he’d be able to transport directly too them. The saving grace right now is that there’s nothing to indicate this is what Jai’s future will be. But Flash may want to keep an eye out as his son’s powers continue developing.
