Anna Camp shares an update on the status of Pitch Perfect 4 by recalling her character’s storyline. Camp played Aubrey in all three Pitch Perfect films, the co-leader of the Barden Bellas in the first film. From her stagefright-filled appearances in the first Pitch Perfect to her days running the Lodge at Fallen Leaves in Pitch Perfect 2, Aubrey’s storyline goes in multiple directions throughout the trilogy. By the end of Pitch Perfect 3, Aubrey has completely pivoted away from the Barden Bella life, suggesting her career go in a different direction.

Camp references this Aubrey storyline in an exclusive Tribeca Film Festival interview with Screen Rant for her new film Nuked, where the actress also spoke about the prospects of Pitch Perfect 4. Check out the full quote from Camp below:

I don’t think [Pitch Perfect 4] is in development unfortunately, but if we did get a 4, I mean at the end of three, I was a doula. I was wanting to become a doula. I don’t know if anybody remembered that. So I would like to see what Aubrey, if she’s really delivering children into the world and singing acapella to them as they come out of their mother’s bodies, you can print that. And I hope that the writers see it and that we make it. And that is all I have to say on that.

More to come…
