Spoiler alert: The following article contains spoilers for Pretty Little Liars: Summer School episode 7.

Only the finale remains in Pretty Little Liars: Summer School, and, hopefully, the episode will finally answer several questions that have popped up throughout the season, including who Bloody Rose is and why she has been targeting Imogen, Tabby, Faran, Mouse, and Noa. The second season of the Max slasher teen drama, created by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and Lindsay Calhoon Bring, follows the aforementioned teenage girls and their pursuit to escape the threat of Bloody Rose (whoever she may be). Now, the Liars only have one episode to defeat the villain once and for all and uncover who is under the mask.

Pretty Little Liars: Summer School episode 7 ended with Bloody Rose attacking (and possibly killing) Kelly. Faran showed up at the pool to find Kelly floating face down in the water and Bloody Rose taunting her from behind a chain link fence. When episode 8 begins, the hour will likely pick up from where the previous one left off, revealing Faran and Kelly’s fate after Faran encounters the terrifying villain once again (while Tabby has yet to have a run-in with Bloody Rose). However, Pretty Little Liars: Summer School episode 8 has other shocking reveals in store and multiple questions to answer.

Is Rose Waters Connected To Bloody Rose?

Rose Showed Up At Mouse’s Home In Episode 7

Aside from the pool scene, episode 7 also ended with the reveal that Rose Waters, Archie Waters’ mother, is alive and well and in Mouse’s home. As some may recall, Rose jumped off a bridge into a raging river in Pretty Little Liars: Summer School episode 4 after Imogen, Tabby, Mouse, and Noa approached her. Once they mentioned Archie, Rose ran from them and leaped from the bridge. The Max series never confirmed her death, but Rose briefly showing up in episode 7 was still shocking.

Since Pretty Little Liars: Summer School episode 7 ended without any explanation of why Rose has come to Mouse, the finale must (and undoubtedly will) address her sudden reappearance. But most importantly, the audience must also learn what Rose’s connection to Bloody Rose is. Of course, the villain is modeled after Archie’s mother and her followers treat her as such on Spooky Spaghetti, but there must be more to the story that viewers are missing. And the truth will (hopefully) all be revealed in the Summer School finale.

Is Imogen’s Mother Really Alive?

Imogen Swore She Saw Davie Under Bloody Rose’s Bandages

Pretty Little Liars: Summer School episode 6 left fans hanging with the possibility that Bloody Rose could be Davie Adams, Imogen’s mother. The villain attacked Imogen without warning at Redemption House, and as Bloody Rose was choking the young girl, Imogen managed to rip the bandages off her face. Once she saw who was underneath the mask, Imogen screamed, alerting her friends, who came running. When they entered the room, Bloody Rose was gone and Imogen sat on the bed, holding the blood-soaked gauze and in complete shock. When asked who Bloody Rose was, Imogen answered, “My mom.”

Tabby, Faran, Mouse, and Noa came to the conclusion that Imogen was either hallucinating or that Bloody Rose was wearing a mask resembling Davie in episode 7. From then on, the girls refused to consider that the villain was, in fact, Imogen’s dead mother. However, a fake death (or a surprise twin) wouldn’t be a first in the Pretty Little Liars franchise. Summer School‘s finale should give the audience answers about Davie’s fate, almost 20 episodes after she supposedly died.

Who Pushed Dr. Sullivan Down The Stairs?

Pretty Little Liars: Summer School Never Solved This Early Mystery

Some may have forgotten because it feels like it happened so long ago, but someone pushed Dr. Sullivan down the stairs of her office building, and they never caught who did it. The therapist theorized that a disgruntled former patient might be the culprit, while Imogen (before she suspected Dr. Sullivan of being Bloody Rose in the Pretty Little Liars horror spinoff) believed they could have been the season 2 villain. But once Imogen and the rest of the girls turned their suspicions onto Dr. Sullivan, all talk about her accident went out the window.

Now, with Dr. Sullivan missing and the revelation that she believes Archie Waters murdered her son, the case of who pushed the doctor down the stairs will hopefully be solved in Pretty Little Liars: Summer School episode 8. Perhaps it was Bloody Rose, or maybe Dr. Sullivan truly is evil and faked her injury. Only time will tell what role Pretty Little Liars: Summer School‘s crossover character plays in the story, though.

What Is The Reckoning?

Bloody Rose’s Followers Have A Plan

Spooky Spaghetti has played an intriguing and mysterious role in Pretty Little Liars: Summer School and the finale should give fans more insight into the people who frequent the website (and blindly follow Bloody Rose). Mouse tried to stop “The Reckoning,” which seemingly is a way for Rose to get revenge for the death of her daughter and the upcoming execution of her son. However, her attempts failed, and Mouse might be Bloody Rose’s followers’ target for the sacrifice, or “blood atonement,” that they need for “The Reckoning.”

Pretty Little Liars: Summer School episode 8 will undoubtedly unveil what “The Reckoning” exactly is and how Bloody Rose plays a role. Whatever the case, Mouse is certainly in danger going into the finale regarding Spooky Spaghetti. Even if Mr. G successfully shuts the website down, Bloody Rose’s followers have a grudge against Mouse and will likely go after her.

4

Is Kelly Dead?

Bloody Rose Seemingly Attacked Kelly In Episode 7

As mentioned above, the penultimate episode of the Pretty Little Liars spinoff’s second season ended with Kelly face down in the water, apparently lifeless. If Bloody Rose actually attacked her, Kelly is probably dead. However, the Max slasher teen drama cut from the scene just as the villain pounced on her, so, viewers didn’t see Bloody Rose stab the teenager or push her into the pool. Plus, there’s suspiciously no blood in the pool surrounding Kelly’s body.

Perhaps Kelly isn’t actually dead, and she is faking unconsciousness as Faran arrives at the scene. Kelly was the one who called Faran and lured her to the pool, after all. It’s possible that Kelly is working with Bloody Rose (especially if she is her mother) and Faran has walked into a trap. Or Kelly has actually been Karen all along in Pretty Little Liars: Summer School, a popular fan theory.

3

Who Are Bloody Rose’s Accomplices?

The Villain Can’t Be Working Alone

Kelly is certainly one of the suspects regarding who is working with or for Bloody Rose in Pretty Little Liars: Summer School as there is undoubtedly more than one person behind season 2’s mystery. Aside from Kelly, plenty more characters fit the bill for being one of the villain’s followers, especially the newbies in the cast. Jen, Christian, and Johnny should all be considered suspects, but the first two (and Wes) are more shady than Johnny in Pretty Little Liars: Summer School, based on the show’s first seven episodes.

Jen just so happened to be driving by when Noa was running from Bloody Rose and her crazed dog in Pretty Little Liars: Summer School episode 5. She claimed she was on her way to the Friday the 13th marathon. However, it was too big of a coincidence to be regarded as anything but suspicious.

Meanwhile, Wes is inherently sketchy. Perhaps he wanted to make a perfect horror film, and working with Bloody Rose gave him the best chance (and Christian, who is from New York City, where Wes went to college, is helping him). The only thing that Johnny has going against him is that he’s a new character. Of course, Greg could be an option, too, or anyone who knew Imogen would be at “Redemption House” the night Bloody Rose attacked her. Someone must have informed the villain of her whereabouts in Pretty Little Liars: Summer School.

Who Is Bloody Rose?

The Suspects Include Mrs. Beasley, Mrs. Langsberry, & Dr. Sullivan

The biggest question that the finale has to answer is who Bloody Rose is. Everyone, including the Pretty Little Liars: Summer School main characters, have their guesses as to who is under the bloody gauze. The suspects range from Mrs. Beasley to Dr. Sullivan, with Mrs. Langsberry and the real Rose Waters also as options. However, the season 2 villain might not be any of these women and episode 8’s reveal will shock everyone.

One twisty fan theory regarding the antagonist in Pretty Little Liars: Summer School is that there is more than one Bloody Rose who has been killing Millwood’s residents and tormenting Imogen, Tabby, Faran, Mouse, and Noa. Perhaps both Mrs. Beasley and Mrs. Langsberry are under the blood-soaked mask. Unfortunately, those who believe this theory to be true must wait until June 20 to learn if they are correct.

Who Will Be The Final Girl?

Imogen, Tabby, Faran, Mouse, Noa Might Not All Survive

Of course, everyone is eager to learn who the final girl of Pretty Little Liars: Summer School is. Imogen, Tabby, Faran, Mouse, and Noa may all survive and be crowned final girls once again. But the fact that Bloody Rose has yet to test Tabby makes one wonder if she will be awarded the title (and Christian’s comments about how the final girl being a Black woman would be amazing).

It’s quite unlikely that the writers of the Max slasher teen drama series will kill off any of the five main girls in the season 2 finale. However, it’s not impossible. Fans should prepare for everything and anything, even the deaths of Imogen, Tabby, Faran, Mouse, and Noa. Whatever the case, more people will die in Pretty Little Liars: Summer School episode 8, and only one (or a few) can be the final girl.
