The Hashira of Demon Slayer represent some of the most talented and impressive fighters the series has to offer. These characters have undoubtedly mastered their craft, perfecting their respective Breathing Styles and terrifying any demon they come across. Tengen Uzui, the former Sound Hashira, is not only one of the most powerful Hashira by far, but one of the most fashionable, self-described as “flashy”.

Reddit cosplayer, u/Tash_i recently posted photographs of their rendition of the magnificent Sound Breathing expert. In the pictures, the cosplayer’s long white hair is tucked into a silver headband with gemstones adorning the front. There are also beads dangling from the front of the headband.

u/Tash_i wears a sleeveless version of the typical black and white Demon Slayer Corps uniform, embellished with bright golden buttons. Some other noticeable and “flashy” accessories included in the look include golden arm rings, bright red and green nail polish, and black fingerless gloves with similar golden rings wrapped around the cosplayer’s wrists.

The cosplayer also wears red makeup to mimic the shapes around Tengen’s eye, as well as red contacts to match his pupil color. There are two Nichirin swords carefully stored on u/Tash_i’s back, representing the two Nichirin swords the character frequently employs in battle. Finally, they wear red legwarmers with a pair of white socks and white sandals. Every aspect of this look is brightly colored with a heavy focus on fashion, matching perfectly with Tengen’s desire to always look good. The word “flashy” is the most commonly used in Tengen’s daily vocabulary, hinting at his love for fashion.

The hero puts a strong emphasis on appearing well put together and absolutely stunning at all times, even during demon battles. The Sound Hashira is quite cocky and confident in himself, with the attractive looks and mighty Sound Breathing powers to back up his somewhat arrogant persona. At heart, Tengen is a very good person who possesses deep love for cherished people in his life, like his three wives. He even decided to step down from being the Sound Hashira after a particularly grueling demon battle, so he could be with his wives more and alleviate their worries about his dangerous career.

Despite appearing almost haughty at times, Tengen uses his talents to both protect humanity and teach the younger Demon Slayers. He even agreed to share his knowledge during the Hashira Training, although he is retired. u/Tash_i undoubtedly chose an excellent character to cosplay. Tengen is full of qualities to admire: his striking handsomeness, his remarkable powers that send demons running, and his devotion to his wives and friends. The look this cosplayer has created is undeniably flashy, and features all the recognizable accessories and aspects of Tengen’s appearance, portraying Demon Slayer‘s former Sound Hashira in true style.
