Newcomer MCU star and Human Torch actor Joseph Quinn provides updates on his preparation for The Fantastic Four and shows his excitement about working with the rest of the cast. Behind-the-scenes updates about The Fantastic Four are becoming more frequent as the Phase 5 movie’s 2025 release date approaches, and The Fantastic Four‘s cast continues to grow accordingly. However, plot information is still very limited beyond what the few official images released by Marvel Studios have suggested.

In an interview with GQ, Human Torch actor Joseph Quinn expresses his eagerness to work with all the actors in The Fantastic Four‘s cast and confirms that he will finish two projects before The Fantastic Four begins filming in July. When asked by GQ whether John Malkovich will play Doctor Doom in the MCU, Quinn withholds a response. Read Quinn’s comments below:

“I’ve met Ebon very briefly, Vanessa I have lots of mutual friends with,” Quinn says. [About John Malkovich] “He’s one of my all-timers.”

“God willing, I’m going to get myself to Glastonbury,” he says. “And after that we’re into skin-tight suits and fire.”

Joseph Quinn also discusses his training for the role of Human Torch, which has required a strict workout regimen. Quinn says,

“I’m eating stuff and lifting things. I’m working with someone great—if you’d cast someone as a personal trainer, you’d cast him, he’s a rhinoceros of a man.” “He’s very good at his job, he gets me to do the things I don’t want to do.” “It’s all happened so fast” Quinn says, that “You can’t think. You just have to go with it.”
