The future of Sweet Tooth gets an interesting response from creator Jim Mickle. Produced by Netflix, the coming-of-age series is set in a post-apocalyptic world wherein human-animal hybrid children attempt to survive. The series is created by Mickle and features a leading cast including Nonsa Anozie, Christian Convery, Adeel Akhtar, Stefania LaVie Owen, James Brolin, Naledia Murray, and Aliza Vellani.

In an exclusive interview with Screen Rant, Mickle hints at Sweet Tooth’s future after its final season. Check out the full quote from Mickle below:

Yeah, we’ve talked about ideas, and definitely have some of what that would look like that I think would be very cool, that would be a very different turn of what it is, but that I think would fit very neatly into Jeff’s world and the stories that he tells, and how we’ve told them. So, I have had those ideas in the past, it’s really all up to whether the fans want it, whether Netflix wants it, and what TV becomes as we go forward. I’m kind of always in a position of like, “Yes, there’s something there if we want to go forward, but it’s also in a really beautiful place where we landed it.” So, I’m happy either way.

More to come…
