Shortly after its release, Bad Boys: Ride or Die is already breaking franchise records. The fourth movie in the Bad Boys franchise, Ride or Die stars Will Smith and Martin Lawrence as two buddy cops attempting to preserve the good memory of their Captain. It was released on June 7 and is already proving to be fairly successful at the box office, having earned a projected $53 million in its opening weekend. Considering Bad Boys 4‘s high budget, that is essential for it eventually achieving success.

Yet Ride or Die has already proven to be a positive outlier. With a 97% Rotten Tomatoes audience score at the time of writing, the movie has become the highest-rated movie in the Bad Boys franchise. It sits just above Bad Boys for Life, which earned a 96% score. The results may fluctuate as more viewers see Ride or Die, but it is an excellent audience reception so early in its run.
