Some of the most beloved actors in Star Wars recently met up for a panel on the Ahsoka show, leading to a number of brand-new, incredible photos. Ahsoka is one of Star Wars’ best TV shows, bringing back fan-favorite characters from throughout Star Wars movies and TV shows, including Anakin Skywalker, Sabine Wren, Ezra Bridger, and Ahsoka Tano herself. The Ahsoka season 1 finale also left viewers eager for more, so this cast reunion served as a thrilling reminder of the upcoming Ahsoka season 2.

The images, posted to Ahsoka Tano live-action actress Rosario Dawson’s Instagram account, rosariodawson, included selfies with Anakin Skywalker actor Hayden Christensen, Sabine Wren live-action actress Natasha Liu Bordizzo, and Chief Creative Officer of Lucasfilm and Ahsoka creator Dave Filoni. The cast was also pictured posing for photos and seated during the panel discussion, although all the images were equally warm and demonstrated the bond the Ahsoka cast shares.

Of course, with the Ahsoka cast coming back together and reflecting upon Ahsoka season 1, audiences are anxious to find out whether Ahsoka season 2 is about to be underway.

This Ahsoka Reunion Could Mean Season 2 Is Gearing Up Soon

Ahsoka season 2 has already been confirmed, but the details around the show, including the timeline for filming, remain mostly under wraps. In fact, major questions remain, including whether Hayden Christensen will reprise his role as Anakin Skywalker in the show’s second season. Christensen’s cameo in the first season, during which he was finally able to play Clone Wars-era Anakin, was highly celebrated; however, his return hasn’t been confirmed.

The second season of Ahsoka opens up a number of other thrilling possibilities, too. In fact, season 1 ended on a true cliffhanger, with Ezra Bridger and Thrawn on their way back to the main Star Wars universe, suggesting the next major villain plot, and Ahsoka and Sabine now trapped on Peridea, where Ezra had been since Star Wars Rebels. Presumably, Thrawn will enact his plan to re-establish the Empire by bringing together the lingering Imperial remnants, and Sabine and Ahsoka will need to find a way off of Peridea.

Ahsoka’s story has also taken a fascinating turn with the show’s finale, as she finally embraced her status as a Jedi after her time with Anakin in the World Between Worlds. In fact, coined Ahsoka the White, Ahsoka’s new look and demeanor suggest that she will be fully embracing the role of a Jedi Master, which will surely mean an incredible update to her character. After all, this is a major shift from her iconic line in Rebels insisting that she was no Jedi.

The timeline and story of Ahsoka season 2 of course remain to be seen, but this get-together and panel with the cast has sparked plenty of excitement. Hopefully, this appearance means that Ahsoka season 2 is well underway. For now, though, this reunion has brought about some amazing new images of the Ahsoka cast, serving as a reminder of how excellent this Star Wars show is.
