A new trailer for That ’90s Show season 2 has been released, teasing the fallout from the end of season 1 for Leia and the others, all while hinting at comedic events to come. That ’90s Show season 1 ended with Leia in a difficult position, at first breaking up with Jay to avoid the pain of a long-distance relationship, then nearly kissing Nate when she realizes she likes him. However, Jay eventually decides he wants to continue dating her, with her return to Chicago leaving the love triangle unresolved.

Now, Netflix has released a new trailer for That ’90s Show season 2, revealing how the ending of season 1 is going to impact the group of characters going forward.

The trailer teases all of the group’s secrets getting revealed to one another as wacky comedic moments ensue. This includes a goofy battle on top of a water tower, Leia trying to find a job, and all the characters generally experiencing unpredictable misadventures. The end of the trailer reveals Part 2 of the show will be released on June 27, while Part 3 will arrive on October 24.

How That ’90s Show Season 2 Might Be Better Than Season 1

That ’90s Show was critically praised when it first arrived on Netflix, becoming a standout comedy that honored its parent series, That ’70s Show, with its humor and storylines. The upcoming season looks to be doing the same, with a trailer that sees the group growing closer to one another despite the conflict that’s likely to ensue. While fallout is bound to happen with Leia caught in the middle, it might end up leading to more mature and comedic stories in the process.

Thanks to the ensemble cast returning, That ’90s Show season 2 is also going to have plenty for Red and Kitty to do, with Don Stark returning as Bob Pinciotti, who has moved in next door. With his role expanded for the upcoming batch of episodes, it seems the storyline of the older characters will be just as hilarious as that of the younger ones. This also opens the door for plenty of unpredictability, perhaps with stories colliding by the end.
