Charlie Cox wears Daredevil’s iconic all-red costume in new Daredevil: Born Again art. Cox was the first main hero from Netflix’s The Defenders Saga to cross over and return under Marvel Studios in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The actor will also be the first star from the Netflix Marvel shows to lead their own Marvel Studios project, with 2025’s Daredevil: Born Again recently confirmed to arrive in March. With a new series on the way, Daredevil’s next MCU appearance could also bring a new loof for the character.

On Instagram, artist @artoftimetravel imagined what Charlie Cox in a comic book-accurate all red Daredevil costume could look like in Daredevil: Born Again.

Cox looks pitch-perfect in the suit, which sports the classic “DD” logo on the hero’s chest. After wearing a couple of different costumes since returning as Daredevil in the MCU, including a distinct yellow and red suit in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, Cox leading Daredevil: Born Again‘s ensemble in the classic Daredevil comic book suit would be on par with the theme of the upcoming MCU TV show.

Could Daredevil Get A Comic Book-Accurate Suit In Born Again?

A New Costume Is Confirmed

Disney+’s Echo saw Cox’s Daredevil go back to a more traditional red and black costume after his appearances in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law with the yellow and red Daredevil suit. However, that will not be the costume the hero will wear when Daredevil: Born Again premieres in March 2025. Daredevil: Born Again set videos and photos have revealed the new look for Cox’s MCU character in his first solo project with Marvel Studios.

Cox’s Daredevil: Born Again suit presents a much brighter red than any of his prior costumes, both under Marvel Studios and in Netflix’s The Defenders Saga. Another new detail of the suit is that the Daredevil: Born Again costume has a much more predominant red than Cox’s other Daredevil suits. The black in the upcoming MCU suit is only used to accentuate the suit, breaking up the large red portions of it.

As the MCU loves to give heroes new costumes with each project and, in TV shows, with every season finale, a comic book-accurate Daredevil suit might just be around the corner. Cox’s Daredevil suit for his MCU series has a large portion in the torso that would perfectly fit the iconic “DD” logo from the comics. It is possible that in the Daredevil: Born Again season 1 finale — the show is confirmed to run for at least two seasons — Cox’s Daredevil will finally get to wear the “DD” logo in an upgraded version of the suit revealed in set photos.

Daredevil: Born Again

After Charlie Cox’s cameo appearance in Spider-Man: No Way Home and supporting role in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, Daredevil: Born Again gives Matt Murdock his first show set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Daredevil: Born Again, composed of 18 episodes, serves as the spiritual successor to Netflix’s three-season Daredevil series and adapts its characters to the MCU’s main continuity while establishing a new beginning for the superhero lawyer.
