One-Punch Man is full of action and amazing fights, and this is due to the massive power level of the characters. The series is filled with jaw-droppingly powerful characters, both among the Hero and Monsters Association, with a hierarchy of power stretching to infinity, and even if there is no doubt that Saitama has become terrifyingly powerful and stands above the other characters, it’s still worth taking a closer look at the world of One-Punch Man to break down whom the strongest characters are.

The Bald Cape is not the only one in the franchise that amasses great power, as there are a good number of strong heroes and monsters who are capable of causing a lot of trouble with their skills.

As the story of the manga progressed, the main hero, Saitama, was forced to fight much stronger enemies. He still had a flat-out win, being the strongest in the series; however, it led the fans to question who the strongest character in One-Punch Man is after Saitama.

One-Punch Man Finally Reveals Saitama’s Most Important Role

Saitama has left an indelible mark on his home world with incredible feats of strength, but his most important role may now be clear in One-Punch Man.

Psykos-Orochi Was Defeated by Tatsumaki

Psykos-Orochi Fusion Boost Orochi’s Power

Monster King Orochi is one of the strongest characters in One-Punch Man as the leader of the Monster Association. King Orochi displayed amazing feats during his fight with Saitama, using the powerful Gaia cannon, a huge beam made with the energy that he absorbed from the core of the planet, to kill Saitama. However, Orochi was easily defeated by Saitama. Orochi managed to survive and grow in strength after absorbing Psykos, a fusion that also gave him extraordinary esper abilities.

The power Psykos-Orochi receives from God makes them capable of casually cutting a portion of the oceanic crust of the earth with an energy beam. The Psykos-Orochi fusion was able to absorb any living entities and give her an unimaginable power output, enough for Tatsumaki to need support from Genos at a point in their fight. However, she was ultimately defeated by Tatsumaki’s twist, a strong attack to deal with her in one go that she saved to use after being sure that the heroes and the hostage were saved.

Tatsumaki’s Powers are Inferior to Those of Lord Boros

Tornado of Terror Is The Most Powerful Esper, But Her Powers Aren’t Planet-level.

Tatsumaki’s powers are based on psychokinesis, telepathy, and psychic barriers. Tatsumaki can even replicate the waves of psychic signals from others and use them to destroy them from within, and she is the most powerful of all the Espers and S-Class heroes, excluding Blast. Tatsumaki threw kilometers of gigantic rocks in her fight with Psykos-Orochi and twisted an entire city to defeat her. She was even able to sustain various attacks, already weakened by Golden Sperm. Tatsumaki is the representation of an unleashed psychic force, and her abilities are beyond human comprehension.

However, Tatsumaki’s aura manipulation was shown to be ineffective against people who had broken their limiters, such as Garou and Saitama. Additionally, based on her fight with Saitama, she wasn’t a threat enough for him to fight seriously, while he did recognize Lord Boros as a strong adversary. Tatsumaki was capable of stopping the boulders fired by Boros’s spaceship and returning them, and she would probably be able to defeat his armored version, but it’s unlikely that she could beat Boros’s meteoric burst, as he is known as the Dominator of the Universe and is even capable of destroying planets.

Lord Boros Was a Threat From Outer Space

Lord Boros Meteoric Burst Made Saitama Get Serious For The First Time.

Lord Boros’ armor function was to seal and limit the output of his power, and even in that form, he withstood a normal punch from Saitama. Once Boro’s armor was off, he was able to unleash his true power. Boros was capable of launching attacks with the force of meteorites, which managed to hit Saitama and send him to the moon with almost no ability to defend himself. Boros also have incredible regenerative abilities and can recover from damage instantly.

Boros’s meteoric burst was the peak of his power. Using his stored energy and releasing it from his body to propel himself, he lets himself surpass his limits and gain destructive power equal to that of a meteor, with an extreme speed capable of avoiding devastating attacks like those of Saitama. However, Boro’s last attack was received by Saitama’s first serious punch, destroying him and his spaceship. While Boros is still considered one of the strongest enemies faced by Saitama, his amazing feats are still outshined by Cosmic Garou, who fought on equal ground with Saitama and brought more trouble to him.

Cosmic Garou Didn’t Get Blast Serious

Cosmic Garou Wasn’t Enough For Blast to Display All His Powers.

Garou is the best in terms of technique, precision, and martial arts and has an incredible ability to evolve and adapt to his opponents’ fighting styles, so much so that his transformations have meant that only Saitama is able to stand up to him without fearing a disastrous outcome. Garou was given divine power by God and is the only enemy who has enraged Saitama, which he manages to do after killing Genos. Garou had even withstood several serious punches from Saitama. Additionally, Saitama’s fight against Garou brought huge consequences.

During Cosmic Garou’s face-off with Blast, the S-class hero attacks were meant to stop him. Blast was seen as more concerned with minimizing collateral damage to the earth than hurting Garou. Blast only recognizes Garou’s divine powers were dangerous because his radiation could lead to a catastrophe. Garou was able to fight back once he copied the gravity knuckle and hyperspace gate, but Blast was only in defensive mode. Given that Blast didn’t receive any damage from Garou and didn’t fight seriously with him, it is safe to assume that Blast was holding back his true powers.

Blast is the Strongest Character After Saitama

The Total Extend of Blast’s Powers is Still Unknown.

The Hero Blast is still an enigma in One-Punch Man. He reveals a glimpse of his abilities with a thought he had before facing Garou, where he admits that their fight will be between two beings that manipulate the reality of the cosmos. Blast can handle large-scale energies, alter space and travel across dimensions, and it is stated by a member of his team that he could hold his own against someone imbued with divided power, a feat only accomplished by Saitama so far in the story.

Blast is the Association’s Class S Rank professional hero and number #1 in mystery, since the story has yet to reveal the complete extent of his powers. Also, the manga shows that Blast is the central defense against God’s powers. However, Blast pales before Saitama’s power, which no one has been able to surpass in ability, strength, and dexterity. Without a doubt, his cosmic powers made Blast the strongest character in One-Punch Man after Saitama.
