Stone Ocean, the sixth and most recent anime part of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, sets itself apart by having a female main character for the first time in the series’ history. Jolyne Cujoh is the daughter of Jotaro Kujo, the protagonist of the third part, Stardust Crusaders. He is the hero who finally took down Jojo’s most evil villain, Dio Brando. In this remarkable cosplay, Jolyne comes alive in all her glory.

Cosplayer @lunardaisi has posted a series of photographs on Instagram featuring their phenomenal Jolyne Cujoh cosplay. The look begins with a black and yellow wig, separated into two space buns and a long ponytail in the back, perfectly representing Jolyne’s one of a kind hairstyle. Their outfit consists of a top and pants combo.

Both pieces appear to be made of navy-colored leather, with a golden line pattern running across the garment. There is a heart shaped blue and purple symbol in the middle of the shirt, likely giving a nod to Jolyne’s Stand, Stone Free.

Jolyne’s Style Is Truly Unique and This Cosplayer Emulates the Part Six Heroine Perfectly

The makeup included in the cosplay brings it to life, with pops of bright color and linework that emulates the style of the anime. @lunardaisi has used black eyeliner to create lines and add definition to the makeup that looks identical to the comic book style that JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure is so well known for. In one of the photographs, they are holding a pair of handcuffs that represent the prison setting that most of this season takes place in, after Jolyne was arrested and spent most of Stone Ocean there. Little details like these truly take the look to the next level.

As a Joestar, Jolyne is undeniably powerful, talented in combat, and possesses an intriguing Stand that helps her in battle. Her Stand is named Stone Free, and it gives Jolyne one of the most useful abilities in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure’s history. With Stone Free’s assistance, Jolyne is able to transform herself into string, unraveling different parts of her body at will and bringing them back together when she is done using the skill. This, as can be imagined, comes in handy in a lot of different situations and helped Jolyne out of a bind on more than one occasion.
