One Piece season 2 has a new set photo shared online, teasing the arrival of a new pirate ship. Based on the hit manga series by Eiichiro Oda, the live-action One Piece series was released on Netflix last year, chronicling the epic adventures of Monkey D. Luffy (Iñaki Godoy) and his crew. The show was a major hit for the streamer, and One Piece season 2 is now confirmed to be on the way.

Now, as the wait continues for the new episodes of One Piece, One Piece Netflix Fan shares a new image from set the set of season 2, teasing the introducing of the Rumbar Pirates’ ship. Check out the image by clicking the link below:

Though zoomed in and grainy, the image clearly shows the distinctive horned figurehead of the Rumbar Pirates’ ship. The ship set is currently stationed on firm ground, and the image doesn’t feature any actual filming taking place on the vessel.

Several Key Characters Could Join One Piece Season 2

The One Piece cast of characters is quite large, but season 1 still only scratches the surface of the larger world that Oda created. Season 2 is poised to further flesh out characters that audiences have already met, but also introduce new ones. The latest set image suggests that the Rumbar Pirates will be playing a role in the next batch of episodes, though their exact role in what’s to come remains unclear.

The Rumbar Pirates hail from the West Blue, and they have appeared in the One Piece anime adaptation in addition to Oda’s source material. The Rumbar Pirates eventually meet their end in the Florian Triangle and have been depicted with two main ships, with one looking very much like a haunted ghost ship. With the ship set to make an appearance after the One Piece season 1 finale, there are several key characters who will likely be making their live-action debut as well.

Brook, for example, is a captain of the Rumbar Pirates, along with Yorki. These two characters could be appearing in future episodes of One Piece, but crew members like Laboon, Mizuta Madaisuki, and Mizuta Mawaritosuki may also be making appearances. Until a One Piece season 2 trailer debuts, the exact nature of the Rumber Pirates’ inclusion in the new episodes will seemingly remain unclear.
