Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy, DC Comics’ most deadly and popular couple, have officially joined the dark side in a Star Wars-themed cosplay. These two Gotham City Sirens are known for their penchant for spreading chaos and having fun while doing it. But this couple cosplay gives fans a chance to see how Harley and Ivy could spread mayhem in a galaxy far, far away.

New York/New Jersey pro cosplayers, Magda and Teresa (@Poison_Bats), collaborated with Nycosplayer to create this spectacular photoshoot of Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy as Sith Lords. These two amazing cosplayers are paying homage to some of Star Wars’ most powerful Sith masters. Teresa as Harley Quinn has her makeup and outfit in the same style as Asajj Ventress, the Sith warrior known for dual-wielding red lightsabers.

Meanwhile, Magda has her Poison Ivy classic red hair and grass dress but comes with black gloves, stockings, a green saber, and a custom Darth Vader armor button corset.

From Gotham’s most wanted to the scourge of the Jedi.

10 Best Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy Moments In DC Comics

Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy have become a staple of DC’s LGBTQ+ community with plenty of amazing moments together, but what are their best moments?

Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy Pledge Their Lives To The Sith and Each Other

These cosplayers give fans an epic “What If” scenario of how Harley and Ivy would be Sith masters and still be soulmates. In the Instagram post for Teresa’s Harley/Asajj cosplay, she recites the famous Code of the Sith with an interesting romantic twist. The caption reads, “Through strength, I gain power. Through power, I gain victory. Through victory, my chains are broken. The Force shall free me and my beautiful Ivy.” Adding in that “and my beautiful Ivy” makes this Code more of a marriage vow while continuing to uphold the values of the Sith. However, falling in love is a carnal sin according to the Sith Code.

This would be like if Harley Quinn had the same upbringing as Asajj Ventress and eventually found peace and love with a warrior like Poison Ivy. In another potential galaxy in the multiverse, Harley devotes her life to the Sith and dresses up like a dangerous jester of darkness. She forms a rivalry and later a friendly bond with a fellow Sith, Poison Ivy, and soon they can’t hide their romantic feelings anymore. Despite taking their vows as Sith, Quinn and Ivy defy the Sith Code and fight their way through hordes of Clones and other Sith just to be together. This proves Harley and Ivy’s love is stronger than the Jedi, Sith, and maybe even the Force combined.

Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy Are Destined To Be Together

The Clown Princess of Crime and the Queen of the Green have the most healthy and non-complicated relationship in comics today. Harley, a victim of abuse and neglect, finds comfort in a fellow social outcast, Ivy, and the two grow from friends to eternal lovers. Whether as villains, anti-heroes, or straight-up heroes, the wacky optimist Harley and the stoic pessimist Ivy keep the fans’ belief in true love alive. In an alternate timeline where Harley and Ivy fight Jedi masters, use the Force, and become Sith lords, they still find each other and fall in love. Thanks to these brilliant cosplayers, @Poison_Bats, fans can dream up a world where Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy are the most powerful Sith couple in the Star Wars galaxy.
