While the matchups felt authentic and the relationships that played out on screen were entertaining, the cast’s behavior behind the scenes wound up ruining the show for both the viewers and those working on the series. During the MAFS season 17 reunion, it was revealed that the participants had decided to predetermine the storylines they wanted to see play out in their relationships, creating false narratives that the production and experts weren’t privy to during filming.
