Milly Alcock gets an incredible suit for Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow in new DC Universe art. Alcock ended up beating Tomorrowverse Supergirl voice actress Meg Donnelly for the role of Kara Zor-El in the DCU’s Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow. The movie is the first confirmed DCU release for 2026. Following the recent suit reveal for David Corenswet’s Superman, fans have begun to imagine what Alcock’s Supergirl costume could look like, and there are some exciting alternatives out there.

On Instagram, artist @jaxsonderr depicted the perfect Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow costume for Milly Alcock’s Supergirl.

The fan art sees Kara don a suit that is both inspired by the Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow comics and David Corenswet’s Superman suit. The Supergirl costume unites both sleeker elements and the classic comic book suit, with the look made complete by Kara’s sword. While Supergirl could get a more traditional suit in future DCU movies, the fan art imagines the perfect suit for the space-set Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow.

10 Things Milly Alcock’s Supergirl Must Do Differently After 2 Previous Versions In The Last 10 Years

Milly Alcock has been cast as Supergirl for DC Studios’ upcoming DCU, and she can learn some valuable lessons from previous incarnations of the hero.

How Milly Alcock’s Supergirl: Woman Of Tomorrow Suit Should Compare To David Corenswet’s Superman

A Major Element Should Be Repeated

With Corenswet’s Superman suit finally revealed by James Gunn, there is now a visual guide for what Supergirl’s suit could look like in the DCU. There are bound to be both similarities and differences between the two, as 2025’s Superman and 2026’s Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow are two very different movies, though based on two super cousins. The biggest similarity between the two could come in the most intriguing aspect of Corenswet’s Superman suit.

Corenswet’s House of El crest, aka the “S” on the Superman suit, is not the character’s classic one. Instead, the DCU’s Man of Steel sports a crest that is inspired by the Kingdom Come comics. The main difference between the two is that, instead of Kingdom Come’s darker red and black color scheme, Corenswet wears the classic yellow and red Superman sigil. As that is what the DCU’s House of El crest looks like, Alcock’s Supergirl should also wear the Kingdom Come-inspired symbol.

Kara Zor-El’s suit in the Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow comics was essentially her classic suit with a large golden belt. However, as Corenswet’s Superman costume had a very modern design to it, with plenty of lines breaking the suit’s colors, something similar is likely in play for Alcock’s Supergirl. As both heroes have different settings for their first DCU solo films — Earth for Superman and space for Supergirl — DC could add elements that make Kara’s suit fit her otherworldly mission. With Milly Alcock reported to appear as Kara before Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, perhaps 2025’s Superman will reveal her costume.
