With the spring 2024 anime season coming to a close, the first and main trailer for Oshi No Ko‘s long-awaited season 2 has finally received a release date, along with a trailer, and it is coming sooner than expected.

The first season aired from April to June 2023, and was met with an incredible reception. Catapulting the manga to become one of 2023’s best-selling manga and becoming one of the most popular recent anime, a second season was immediately confirmed following the 11-episode season.

As confirmed by the official website of the anime series, Oshi No Ko season 2 will start airing on July 3, 2024. A stunning key visual was also released, and the artist behind the opening song was revealed.

Oshi no Ko Will Come Back with the “2.5D Stage Play” Arc

The trailer shows the main cast of Aqua, Kana, and Akane in the rehearsals for the upcoming Tokyo Blade play. The most exciting new character, Taiki Himekawa, will be integral to the season, being a phenomenal actor despite his appearance. The rehearsal aspect will take up a huge portion of the show, showing both Kana’s progress and struggles in the acting world and Aqua’s investigation into the death of his mother.
