In DC Comics, Ghost-Maker is a relatively new addition to The Dark Knight’s ever-growing Bat-Family and has quickly become a character to be reckoned with thanks in part to his impeccable skills as a crime-fighter and an incredibly unique costume design that’s as badass as it is versatile. Now, Ghost-Maker makes his live-action debut in a set of cosplay photos that fans of this budding hero need to see in all their comic-accurate glory.

A cosplay recently shared on social media via X (formerly Twitter), Kevin (@kevinkomics) is a creator no stranger to dreaming up, designing, and then wearing various homemade looks featuring some of the comic industry’s best characters.

Previously dressing as Daredevil in both his red and yellow costume, Batman in his original purple-gloved batsuit from 1939, Cyclops in his famous blue and yellow X-Men spandex, Robin in a Tim Drake-esque outfit, and more, Kevin also finds the time to create some awesome pieces of fanart that always seem to do the characters he sketches justice.

Ghost-Maker and Batman in DC Comics

Introduced in 2020’s Batman #100 by James Tynion IV and Jorge Jimenez, Minhkhoa Khan, aka Ghost-Maker, is a foil to Batman’s Caped Crusader with an origin tied closely to his, as both Bruce Wayne and “Khoa” trained together around the world before taking up their respective vigilante lifestyles. Sporting a suit that’s just as equipped with high-tech gear and gadgets as Batman’s iconic batsuit, Ghost-Maker doesn’t mind killing to accomplish his goals, an inclination that’s mostly been curbed after being influenced by Batman’s righteous ways, specifically after Ghost-Maker was asked to lead Batman Inc.

Seen across three photos shared within Kevin’s post, as well as a few uploaded to its comments section, Kevin’s take on Ghost-Maker not only brings this niche character to life in a stunningly realistic way but ensures nothing is lost in translation in the jump from comic page to real life. Highlighting Ghost-Maker’s glowing blue wardrobe accents in the first batch of images, it’s Kevin’s all-white threads, dual swords, flowing cloak, additional grey and black costume elements, and, of course, Ghost-Maker’s signature white and black helmet that impress the most, creating a live-action look that fires on all cylinders.

Ghost-Maker Has One Of The Most Unique Character Designs In All Of DC Comics

Ghost-maker vs Batman in DC comics

Nailing Ghost-Maker’s design seemingly with ease, Kevin makes a case for why the cosplay community needs to bring this character to life more often, with the number of custom designs out there being few and far between — an utter travesty considering Ghost-Maker’s profile in comics is only getting bigger each time he makes an appearance in Batman’s little corner of the DC Universe. It may be a while before Ghost-Maker gets a proper live-action debut, but for now, Kevin (@kevinkomics) has fans’ back, whether they like the character or not.
