Star Wars: The Bad Batch season 3 has wrapped up the story of Clone Force 99, leaving a lot of questions remaining, particularly about Omega and her age. Omega was first introduced in The Bad Batch series premiere but quickly became a beloved if not inexperienced member of Clone Force 99. Throughout The Bad Batch’s three seasons, audiences have seen Omega grow physically, but also as a member of Clone Force 99 and a soldier.

Omega is still a kid, and even though she’s technically older than her brothers, Hunter, Wrecker, Crosshair, and Echo all feel an obligation to protect and train her to the best of their ability. Because Omega is an unaltered clone, she aged naturally, meaning she got the childhood most clones missed out on. Despite this, it’s still highly debated how old Omega is, as it’s never revealed in The Bad Batch.

Star Wars: The Bad Batch Voice Cast – What The Actors Look Like In Real Life

Star Wars: The Bad Batch has quite an interesting cast of actors that features multiple Star Wars veterans, as well as a few newcomers.

Omega is About 12 During The Bad Batch Season 1

Which Takes Place in 19 BBY

Omega is first seen when Clone Force 99 returns to Kamino following the execution of Order 66. Because of The Bad Batch’s place in the Star Wars timeline, season 1 took place entirely in 19 BBY, and just days and months following the events of Star Wars Episode III—Revenge of the Sith. Omega is obviously a child in The Bad Batch season 1, but she is likely about 12 years old. It’s possible that she could be as young as 10 or as old as 14, but based on other information provided in later seasons, 12 seems more likely.

This would mean that Omega was born in about 31 BBY. This makes sense considering that Count Dooku left the Jedi Order and erased Kamino from the Jedi archives in 32 BBY, during the events of Star Wars Episode I—The Phantom Menace. Considering Jedi Master Sifo-Dyas secretly commissioned the clones of Jango Fett in 32 BBY, it would make sense that Omega, an unaltered genetic clone, was one of the first to be bred. While Omega may have been physically 12, she could have had the intelligence and maturity of someone older, especially since she was kept away from the other clones.

The Bad Batch Season 2 Takes In the Same Year as Season 1

Omega May Have Turned 13 During Season 2

The Bad Batch season 2 mostly takes place in 19 BBY, but the season finishes in 18 BBY. Because of this, it’s possible that Omega is still 12 during the entirety of The Bad Batch season 2, but she also could have turned 13 during the season’s events. It’s obvious that Omega was working on bettering her skills, and was being trained by all of her brothers in many different ways. Tech was teaching her how to pilot and was also having her study all of Clone Force 99’s different plans.

This development of a soldier’s shorthand was vital to Omega’s success in both The Bad Batch seasons 2 and 3. In season 2, Omega was able to take a more active role in helping her brothers on missions and was able to think of creative solutions to problems. This coupled with her knowledge of science from her time working with Nala Se on Kamino made her vital to Clone Force 99’s success. Despite this, Omega still had child-like emotions, especially when it came to Echo leaving the team. Even though Omega became a trained soldier, she was still a kid.

Omega

A mysterious mutant clone created by the Kaminoans, Omega longed to get away from Kamino and explore the galaxy. She was rescued from the Empire by Clone Force 99, and soon became the heart of the team. The Empire still view Omega as valuable, though, and all signs indicate her story could well end in tragedy.

Omega is Between 13 and 14 Years Old During The Bad Batch Season 3

Season 3 Takes Place in 17 BBY

By the tally marks Omega made in her cell while being held in Mount Tantiss, it’s known that she was there for 125 days, which is just under half a year. During that time, Omega’s hair had grown longer, and she had gotten taller. It’s unclear how long the latter half of The Bad Batch season 3 took place, but Omega had seemingly gotten even taller throughout the season.

Additionally, audiences got to see Omega come into her own as a soldier and as a member of Clone Force 99. Her intelligence and ability to make plans on the fly were reminiscent of all of her brothers and showed that she exhibits the best aspects of all of them. Her ingenuity was a big reason why all members of Clone Force 99 made it off Mount Tantiss in The Bad Batch series finale.

The Bad Batch’s Epilogue Ages Up Omega

Omega is Likely in Her Mid-to-Late 20s

It’s unclear what year Omega leaves Pabu to join the Rebellion as a pilot, but it’s safe to assume it’s sometime between 5 BBY and 0 BBY. This would make Omega anywhere from 26 to 31 during The Bad Batch’s epilogue. This also lines up with how Omega looks. She looked fully grown and was even the same height as Hunter. While Omega had always been mature and smart for her age, she seemed to have really grown into that level of maturity audiences see her having.
