A new character visual for one of One-Punch Man‘s most iconic characters, Genos, has been revealed ahead of the series’ third season release. The 19-year-old almost full cyborg has played a very important role in the series so far, and this upcoming season will see him take an even bigger role.

Season 3 of One-Punch Man was confirmed to be in the works on February 29 2024, and was met with a lot of excitement, and this was expected given that season 2 aired half a decade ago. The production committee has been keeping the hype alive by releasing character visuals periodically.

First, it was Saitama, then King, and now Genos’ character has been revealed. Although the character visual doesn’t seem out of the ordinary, it hints that one of the series’ biggest problems has finally been addressed.

One-Punch Man Season 3: News, Story, Characters, & Everything We Know So Far

One-Punch Man’s long-awaited third season has been announced. Here’s everything that’s been publicly revealed about the new season so far.

Season 3 Seems To Be Addressing Its Prequel’s Problems

One-Punch Man Season 3 will be produced by J.C. Staff, based on the original series by ONE

When the trailer was released, fans were content, as there were signs that many of the issues that plagued One-Punch Man season 2 would be addressed in production. The manga panels were replicated beautifully, and the fight scenes were smooth, and now the texture of Genos’ metal frame seems to look much better. Although it seems like an insignificant issue, it was one of the major points of contention for fans of the series, as the coloring of Genos’ body looked terrible to them.

This improvement couldn’t have come at a better time, as Genos will have lots of screentime in the upcoming arc of the anime. If JC Staff persisted with their previous coloring and effects in season 2, it would surely have negatively impacted the viewer’s watching experience, especially since Genos is a fan-favorite. It is very refreshing to see the studio taking fan’s concerns into consideration and implementing changes, which proves that J.C. Staff is perfect for the upcoming One-Punch Man season.

Genos Will Steal Fans’ Hearts In One-Punch Man Season 3

Like the other S-Class heroes and his master, Saitama, Genos will participate in this arc where the heroes will have a full-out war with the Monster Association. He will take on extremely powerful villains, challenge his limits again, and will be the catalyst to the series’ most heartwarming moment yet. Although the official release date of One-Punch Man season 3 is not yet known, fans can look forward to the beloved cyborg in action soon.
