A new Despicable Me 4 trailer is here. The upcoming movie is the latest entry in the highly successful Illumination franchise that began in 2010. While the prequel Minions: The Rise of Gru came out in 2022, it’s been seven years since the release of the most recent movie in the main Despicable Me franchise. Despicable Me 4 will find Gru and his family on the run as they’re pursued by a supervillain.
Now, Illumination has released a brand-new trailer for Despicable Me 4 ahead of its release this summer. Check it out below:

The infamous (and kind-hearted) not-super villain Gru returns in Despicable Me 4, the fourth entry in the long-running movie series from Illumination Entertainment. The fourth film also sees the return of Gru’s wife, Lucy, portrayed again by Kristin Wiig, and introduces their son.
