Of all zodiac signs, Leos are definitely a lot to deal with. They are bold, confident, loud, and they don’t want anyone to tell them they’re wrong. They’re not exactly warm and mushy romantics, so romantic comedies might not be their first choice.

Love: Trainwreck
Leo signs would definitely love Trainwreck, the 2015 rom-com that stars Amy Schumer as Amy, a writer who hates the idea of true love. If any romantic comedy protagonist is a Leo, it would be her. Amy is brash, tough, and overly confident.
Amy can’t believe it when Aaron (Bill Hader) wants to date her, and she’s even more shocked when she falls in love with him. Leos have a lot of passion but won’t settle down for just anyone, so this zodiac sign will enjoy watching Amy and Aaron’s journey. They will relate when Amy has a tough time opening up and being comfortable in a serious relationship.
Hate: Under The Tuscan Sun
Fans of the romantic comedy genre really enjoy the 2003 movie Under the Tuscan Sun. It’s a beautiful fantasy about Diane Lane’s character, Frances, who gets divorced and moves to Italy.
A hopeless romantic would want to live in the world of this movie, imagining themselves walking along the sunny Italian streets, renovating an old home, and learning to cook with local produce. But a Leo sign? They would hate this movie. They can have trouble with compromise, so they wouldn’t agree with someone moving to another country and uprooting their life. And the emotions that France feels would be too much for them.
Love: Isn’t It Romantic
Leo signs would love Isn’t It Romantic because it examines the tropes of rom-coms with a critical eye. Natalie (Rebel Wilson) didn’t think much of the genre but, oops, now she finds herself living in this type of movie.
Leos will find themselves laughing and cringing throughout the whole film (in a good way) and will enjoy the fact that the protagonist dislikes this genre and is picking it apart in such an intelligent way. Touchy-feely romantics might find some of this insulting, but not Leos.

How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days is one of the most popular romantic comedies ever, but it’s not one that a Leo will love.
Since Andie (Kate Hudson) is focused on getting a guy to break up with her, a Leo would wonder why she’s even bothering. While she is working on an assignment and she cares about her career, Leos will think that it’s best to just focus on work.
Love: No Strings Attached
Released in 2011, No Strings Attached is a rom-com starring Natalie Portman and Ashton Kutcher as two characters who start a casual “friends with benefits” type of relationship. This is the perfect romantic comedy for Leos, most of whom are able to have this type of casual situation, no problem.
Other zodiac signs would find that their emotions get in the way, but Leos aren’t vulnerable or emotional at all, so they would think that this movie makes a lot of sense.
Hate: Bridget Jones’s Diary
Leo signs will hate the 2001 romantic comedy Bridget Jones’s Diary, which is one of the most famous films in the genre. They will be totally annoyed with Renée Zellweger’s character, who seems to whine and complain and have a non-stop pity party for her crappy life.
Leos will want Bridget to make some positive changes and work hard ,and they won’t feel any sympathy for her.
Love: 13 Going On 30
Jennifer Garner’s character Jenna will really appeal to Leo signs, who will definitely love the romantic comedy 13 Going On 30.
This 2004 movie has become extremely popular and for good reason. Leos will love that Jenna is confident, dresses in bold and bright colors, and is determined to become popular and successful. She’s always determined to be the center of attention, which is exactly what Leos love and expect.
Hate: John Tucker Must Die
John Tucker Must Die is another romantic comedy that Leo signs would hate. While it’s cool that three women are getting revenge on the guy who was involved with all of them, Leos will wonder why they even bothered dating him in the first place. They would think that he’s a total loser who isn’t worth anyone’s time.
Leos also wouldn’t like the love story between Kate (Britanny Snow) and Scott (Penn Badgley). They see serious relationships as a distraction and it takes a lot for them to want to fall in love.
Love: Forgetting Sarah Marshall
Leo signs enjoy going on vacation because they work hard and want to do something fun with all that money. One of the best rom-coms where the characters go on vacation is 2008’s Forgetting Sarah Marshall.
Peter (Jason Segel) decides to head to Hawaii after his girlfriend Sarah (Kristen Bell) dumps him. Forgetting Sarah Marshall is a hilarious movie with a great setting, and Leos will dream of this type of trip.
Hate: Made Of Honor
Weddings are a nightmare for Leo signs, who always want to be the center of attention. They don’t want someone else to get all the praise and compliments. In that vein, they would hate the romantic comedy Made Of Honor, which came out in 2008 and stars Patrick Dempsey and Michelle Monaghan.
Leos wouldn’t get invested in this story and since it’s a pretty cheesy and lackluster romantic comedy, they would find it a waste of time.
