5 DCEU Characters Who Would Survive A Terminator Attack (& 5 Who Would Be Terminated)

5 DCEU Characters Who Would Survive A Terminator Attack (& 5 Who Would Be Terminated)

The DCEU has several noteworthy characters in its line-up, including the likes of Wonder Woman, Batman, The Joker, and Aquaman. Audiences have seen each of these characters fight their archenemies and overcome obstacles before, but what if they were faced with a different kind of villain?

What if a Terminator was sent to annihilate the characters of the DCEU? Considering the ruthless and brutal nature of the Terminator, some DCEU characters would struggle to defend themselves, and others would take out the Terminator without breaking a sweat.

Terminated: The Joker

The Joker is a crazed villain, to say the least. His insanity scares most away. However, for a Terminator, a machine with no emotions, Joker’s personality would hardly be enough to scare them off.

The Joker is a killer and has long taunted Batman, but a Terminator is an entirely different enemy, and The Joker wouldn’t be prepared to face such a foe, which would inevitably lead to his demise. If anyone were to send a Terminator after Joker, it’d probably be Batman.

Survive: El Diablo

El Diablo Looking at Fire

El Diablo carries a heavy weight from his past, resulting in his desire to stay out of fights. However, a Terminator would not see El Diablo coming. He can summon flames at will.

A Terminator wouldn’t stand a chance against El Diablo; whatever the Terminator throws at him, El Diablo would be prepared and happily turn the Terminator into a mechanical barbecue.

Terminated: Amanda Waller

Amanda Waller in Suicide Squad

Amanda Waller is good at her job; she organized the Suicide Squad, after all. She does what she feels is right, using intimidation and her connections to do so. However, this would mean nothing to a Terminator.

She would have nothing to offer them, and without superpowers of her own, she’d have a hard time defending herself in a Terminator attack.

Survive: Deadshot

Deadshot is an assassin. He’s good at what he does; he even enjoys it. While he may be conflicted as he wants to be a good father for his daughter, he’d nonetheless be prepared for a Terminator attack.

Despite the Terminator being a machine, Deadshot could probably relate to and predict the Terminator’s moves. Deadshot is resourceful; perhaps he even has a move up his sleeve that a Terminator doesn’t possess. It’d be the fight of a lifetime between two assassins!

Terminated: Harley Quinn

Harley Quinn

Harley Quinn is entertaining and funny, but she’s far from sane. She can be quite reckless, and she fears nothing. Though, she really should fear an attack from the Terminator.

She can’t play mind games with a Terminator, and she certainly can’t charm them. Harley can also be a bit over-confident, and that could prove to be detrimental. Harley would need help to survive an attack; on her own, she doesn’t stand much of a chance.

Survive: Aquaman

Jason Momoa as Aquaman

Aquaman’s powers alone are enough to defeat any Terminator. Unless a Terminator was specifically created to survive anything Aquaman can throw at them, whether it be water or sea life, the Terminator wouldn’t find much success.

More than likely, that Terminator would meet a watery grave, and it would discourage any other Terminator from coming after Aquaman.

Terminated: Captain Boomerang

Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang in Suicide Squad

Captain Boomerang may be a gifted thief, but when it comes down to a Terminator attack, he wouldn’t emerge victoriously. As stated in Suicide Squad, he’s a “deranged lunatic” and “possible alcoholic.”

With traits like that, Captain Boomerang may take unnecessary risks in a Terminator attack, which in turn could get him and anyone else present killed in the process. Plus, should the Terminator appear with a pink unicorn to entice Captain Boomerang, it would be game over at that point.

Survive: Wonder Woman

Wonder Woman

Wonder Woman has been trained to fight practically since birth. Plus, with her armor and her will, good luck to any Terminators that go after her. Diana would be nothing short of furious if a Terminator were sent to kill her, or someone close to her.

She wouldn’t allow the Terminator a chance to return home, much less fulfill their mission. It’d be quite a fight, and knowing Wonder Woman, it’d probably end quickly and brutally.

Terminated: Batman

DCEU Batman Ben Affleck

Yes, Batman has survived through plenty. The murder of his parents, his many encounters with The Joker, etc. But, the Terminator is another story. Batman doesn’t have any powers, and Batarangs wouldn’t fend off a Terminator for long, if at all. Batman is a planner, a logical thinker, and would probably come up with some strategic approach.

While that’s a good thing, it wouldn’t work with the Terminator, as it is a machine and simply follows its mission no matter what. A Terminator doesn’t plan; they just strike at every opportunity, and Batman would probably be caught off guard with no previous warning or knowledge of the Terminator and how they work.

Survive: Superman

Henry Cavill as Superman

Considering all the other enemies Superman has faced, a Terminator would be nothing. Unless that Terminator has kryptonite, they’re pretty much out of luck.

With his flying and super strength, Clark Kent isn’t easy to fight or chase after. Even if a Terminator catches him by surprise, all Superman has to do is punch him into next week, essentially. Superman would have no problem surviving an attack, or defeating the Terminator in the process.
