Adapted from the book by Beth Harbison, the movie follows Noelle, who has been heartbroken for several years because her partner left her. Noelle meets Jake, a fireman, and when she is stuck in the store where she works, the Ghost Of Christmas Past is there, too.
The movie has everything that Hallmark fans look for, from a meet-cute that develops into a real romance and a main character who needs a reminder that good things can happen anytime, but especially during the winter holidays.
A Christmas Melody (2015)
Redditor sunnydays_91 recommended several Hallmark movies starring Lacey Chabert, a perennial star for the network. A Christmas Melody stars Chabert as Kristen, a mom who brings her daughter Emily to live in the town where she grew up after a hard time in life. Kristen has conflict with Melissa, a woman who she once knew and who is now the head of the PTA.
It’s clear from watching the first part of this movie that Kristen and Melissa will learn to get along better and might even become close friends, as Hallmark holiday movies are all about cheerful endings. It’s fun to see Mariah Carey in this role and Kristen is a sweet character.
Five More Minutes (2021)
Five More Minutes is based on the song by Scotty McCreery and there is a second film, Five More Minutes: Moments Like These, which is part of the 2022 Hallmark release schedule. In the first movie, Clara falls in love with Logan after losing her grandpa who she was really close to.

Instead, she takes a train and ends up time traveling to 2011, where she visits the town that she grew up in and gets a second chance. Christmas movies that involve time travel are particularly light-hearted and fun since they involve suspension of disbelief and show how important it is to have hope any time of year. Viewers always love seeing characters end up in a place that they never thought they would.
An Unexpected Christmas (2021)
A typical Hallmark Christmas movie trope is two strangers pretending to be engaged or just dating so one character can make their family think that they’re in a serious relationship. The Sweetest Christmas (2017)
While there are some bad Hallmark movie storylines, The Sweetest Christmas is endearing. Kylie wants to win the American Gingerbread Competition and she hopes that the magical vibes of this time of year can help her out.

The Mistletoe Promise (2016)

While many Hallmark main characters absolutely adore the jolly vibes of the holiday season, sometimes they need a bit of help and nudging, and this always makes for a compelling and exciting story. In this movie, Nick and Elise aren’t big fans of Christmas, and they team up so they can get through it, but naturally wind up falling for each other.
