10 The Boys vs. Gen V Supe Fights We Want To See After Marie vs. Homelander (& Who’d Win)

10 The Boys vs. Gen V Supe Fights We Want To See After Marie vs. Homelander (& Who’d Win)

Gen V has introduced all kinds of new supes to the world of The Boys, and here are 10 fights between Gen V and The Boys supes that we want to see after Marie vs. Homelander in the season 1 finale. Superheroes fighting each other is a trope that is as old as superheroes itself, with all kinds of comics focusing on heroes from different series going toe to toe. Due to the sheer amount of heroes seen throughout Gen V and The Boys, plenty of potential match ups have been teased, and The Boys season 4 could show off some of these exciting fights.

Gen V is finally here, with season 1 of the highy-anticipated spinoff of Amazon Prime Video’s The Boys now fully released on the streaming service. The show looks at the world of The Boys through a new lens, with the series this time focusing on a college for supes known as Godolkin University. Gen V follows Marie Moreau, a blood-bending supe who gets the opportunity to attend the prestigious Vought-run university. Upon arriving, however, Marie and her friends uncover a massive Vought conspiracy, one that leads the supes to fight some of the most powerful figures from the main The Boys series.

10 Emma vs. Termite

Termite Wins

10 The Boys vs. Gen V Supe Fights We Want To See After Marie vs. Homelander (& Who’d Win)

One of the most obvious fights between a Gen V and a The Boys supe is Emma vs. Termite. Termite was The Boys‘ origninal Ant-Man parody, with the shrinking supe famously being part of The Boys season 3, episode 1. However, Termite was barely featured in the series, while Gen V‘s shrinking wonder Emma is actually one of Gen V‘s main characters. It seems like Termite would win, as Emma is still getting a grip on her powers. However, Emma may prove everyone wrong if the two duke it out in an upcoming episode.

9 Andre vs. Soldier Boy

Andre Wins

Andre is startled after accidentally hurting someone

Andre and Soldier Boy don’t have similar powers, as Andre can control metal while Soldier Boy just has super strength and enhanced durability. However, the pairing would still be interesting, as Andre seemed to be jealous of Cate’s childhood crush on Soldier Boy. This would add a personal level to the fight, making it more than a mindless brawl. Although Soldier Boy is strong, Andre would probably end up winning, as he can keep his distance and simply bend Soldier Boy’s shield.

8 Marie Moreau vs. Starlight

Marie Wins

Most supes in the world of The Boys are melee fighters, with Marie Moreau and Starlight being two of the only projectile-based heroes in the franchise. Marie shoots blood while Starlight shoots light, meaning that the battle will be a cacophony of red and yellow. While Starlight can typically hold her own, as she is a member of The Seven, Marie Moreau would probably win. Marie can control blood while it is still inside someone’s body, meaning that she can simply stop Starlight’s blood flow or give her a heart attack.

7 Cate vs. A-Train

A-Train Wins

Cate is one of The Boys‘ most powerful supes, with her telepathic powers allowing her to control minds simply by making physical contact with a supe and telling them what to do. Luckily, one supe can avoid Cate’s physical touch: A-Train. Using his super speed, A-Train could most likely run in, hit Cate, and get out before she could even touch him. Because of this, A-Train is one of the few supes that could beat Cate in a fight.

6 Sam vs. Kimiko

Kimiko Wins

Sam staring ahead in Gen V episode 5

Kimiko is one of the few protagonist supes in The Boys, but it would still be interesting to see her take on Sam from Gen V. Sam and Cate are both supes who were treated terribly when they were young, giving them immensely negative outlooks on Vought. Their main powers seem to be super strength and enhanced durability, meaning that the fight between them would be a brutal brawl. Unless Cate is there to suppress Sam’s emotions, Sam’s empathy would probably prevent him from killing Kimiko, giving her the upper hand.

5 Cate vs. Soldier Boy

Cate Wins

Cate freeing Supes from the Woods in Gen V episode 8

Cate and Solider Boy’s powers may not be similar, but they would be an interesting pairing due to thier history. As a child, Cate had a massive crush on Soldier Boy, with him even appearing while Marie and the gang are trapped inside Cate’s mind. Although Soldier Boy doesn’t know Cate, seeing Cate take on her former imaginary friend would be a fun dynamic, meaning that it should happen in an upcoming episode of The Boys.

4 Jordan Li vs. Queen Maeve

Queen Maeve Wins

Jordan Li in their female form in Gen V

Jordan Li and Queene Maeve are both up-close brawlers, but that isn’t their only similarity. Both characters are the most prominent members of the LGBTQ+ community in their respective shows, with this parallel being a big part of why they would have an interesting dynamic. Jordan Li’s super strength and increased durability would mean that they could probably dodge Queen Maeve’s sword and other attacks, but Maeve has years of expirence on Jordan, meaning that she would probably win in the end.

3 Maverick vs. Billy Butcher

Billy Butcher Wins

One of the most interesting fights between a Gen V and a The Boys character would be Maverick vs. Billy Butcher. Maverick is an invisible supe that is the son of Translucent, a former member of The Seven. Billy Butcher killed Translucent in The Boys season 1, and having Maverick attempt to get revenge would be an incredibly interesting story. Billy Butcher gained temporary super powers through his use of Temp-V in The Boys season 3, so if he took more of the product, he could definitely take down Maverick.

2 Tek-Knight vs. Black Noir

Black Noir Wins

Derek Wilson as Tek-Knight in The Boys Gen V trailer

Gen V finally introduced Tek-Knight to the world of The Boys, with the major character from the comics being a parody of gadget-based superheroes like Iron Man and Batman. Because of this, it would be interesting to see Tek-Knight take on Black Noir, The Seven’s own gadget-based Batman parody. The duo would also have an interesting dynamic, as Tek-Knight is a frequent talker, while Black Noir is completely silent. Tek-Knight’s abilities in The Boys Amazon universe haven’t been fully explored yet, but since Black Noir is one of the franchise’s most proficient killers, he’d probably win here as well.

1 Marie Moreau vs. Homelander (Again)

Marie Wins

Although Marie Moreau and Homelander faced off for the first time in the Gen V season 1 finale, it was kind of an unfair fight. Marie was expecting Homelander to help her, with her being blindsided by his laser blasts. If Marie got to face off with Homelander again, she would be ready, and she could probably win. It’s already been established that Marie can survive Homelander’s lasers, meaning that she would just have to get close enough to give him a heart attack, leading to the Gen V hero triumphing over The Boys‘ main villain.
