10 Strongest Power Rangers Weapons, Ranked

10 Strongest Power Rangers Weapons, Ranked

The list of strongest Power Rangers weapons, which ranges from blasters and swords to magic staffs, offers an interesting look at how the saga’s power system works. Following the death of Zordon in Power Rangers in Space, each entry in the Power Rangers chronological order has worked as a standalone story. As such, it can be difficult to apply the same power-level rules to every Power Rangers TV show. That said, from Mighty Morphin to Power Rangers Cosmic Fury’s ending, there are enough clues to determine the strongest Power Rangers accessories.

A Super Sentai or Power Rangers show is not complete without the gadgets. Between the individual blasters and the signature swords, the arsenal of each Power Rangers team helps separate one season from the other. While there may not be an exact way to compare each team’s powers and skills, some Power Rangers weapons are clearly the strongest or most special in the franchise.

10 Power Blaster From Mighty Morphin Power Rangers

Used by the core Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.

While it is important not to let nostalgia influence a Power Rangers’ power scale rank, it is difficult not to include the original Power Weapons in a list of the strongest Power Rangers accessories. Part of what made Mighty Morphin so special was how unique each Ranger was, from their helmets to their weapons. When combined, the Power Sword, Axe, Bow, Lance, and Daggers formed the Power Blaster, which could essentially end any fight in the blink of an eye. For that reason, not every Power Rangers episode featured the Power Blaster. Otherwise, the “ground fights” would’ve ended way too soon.

9 Zeo Power Weapons From Power Rangers Zeo

Used by the core Zeo Rangers.

The combination of five weapons into one is naturally more powerful than each individual part. That said, the Zeo Power Weapons deserved to be listed separately from the Zeo Blaster. Considering that Power Rangers Zeo features the most powerful Power Rangers team, at least based on the wider Power Rangers lore, anything associated with this season is among the strongest elements in the saga. This includes the Zeo Power Weapons, namely the Power Disc, Clubs, Tonfas, and Hatches, as well as the Battle Sword. The Zeo Rangers carried more accessories than the Mighty Morphin Rangers, but those five items were their main weapons.

8 Golden Power Staff From Power Rangers Zeo

Used by the Zeo Gold Ranger.

10 Strongest Power Rangers Weapons, Ranked

Power Rangers’ sixth or extra Rangers are usually stronger than the original, core members of the team. Applying this logic to Power Rangers Zeo, which features some of the most powerful characters in the franchise, the Zeo Gold Ranger is among Power Rangers’ strongest Rangers. As such, Trey of Triforia’s Golden Power Staff, the Gold Ranger’s signature weapon, cannot be ignored. Not only can it be used for short-distance attacks, but it can also fire laser beams from a significant distance. The Golden Power Staff can also work as a Morpher, as seen when Jason became the Zeo Gold Ranger.

7 Zeo Blaster From Power Rangers Zeo

Used by the core Zeo Rangers.

Power Rangers Zeo's Power Blaster

Just like the Power Blaster was one of the most “OP” Mighty Morphin artifacts, the Zeo Blaster was one of the most effective gadgets in the Zeo Rangers’ arsenal. When combined into one element, the Zeo Power Weapons formed a unique type of blaster that, very much like the Mighty Morphin one, could end the fight right away. Every Power Rangers season that included a variation of the Power Blaster, from Mighty Morphin to Cosmic Fury, usually followed the same trope of saving it for the end of the fight with the regular-sized monster. The same happens in Zeo, which does not make the Zeo Power Blaster any less special.

6 Dragon Dagger From Mighty Morphin Power Rangers

Used by the original Green Ranger.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers' Green Ranger

Mighty Morphin’s Green Ranger, the first of Tommy Oliver Power Rangers forms, changed the show and the franchise forever. The first of many evil and extra Rangers, the Green Ranger was ridiculously more powerful than the core members of the team – at least initially. Even after Tommy broke free of Rita’s spell and joined the Power Rangers, the Green Ranger continued to be one of the show’s strongest characters. Much of the Green Ranger’s charm had to do with the Dragonzord, which itself was tied to the Dragon Dagger. The ability to control one of Power Rangers’ most powerful Zords remotely makes the Dragon Dagger extremely special.

5 Quasar Sabers From Power Rangers Lost Galaxy

Used by the core Galaxy Rangers.

Power Rangers Lost Galaxy's Quasar Sabers

Power Rangers Lost Galaxy’s Quasar Sabers are not only one of the most powerful artifacts in the Power Rangers multiverse, but they are also the driving force of one of the best Power Rangers seasons. In a rather Arthurian legend type of story, four of the five people who would become Galaxy Rangers were worthy of removing the Quasar Sabers from a stone altar on the mysterious planet of Mirinoi. The Quasar Sabers are what give each Lost Galaxy Ranger their powers, and without them, the Rangers could not even morph. Multiple monsters tried to steal the Quasar Sabers, but only those worthy of their powers could do it.

To put things in perspective, the Quasar Sabers were so special that they could bring someone back to life. Kendrix, the original Pink Ranger, died at the beginning of the season and was resurrected thanks to the combined powers of the Quasar Sabers. Where exactly the Quasar Sabers’ powers come from is difficult to say, especially because the distinction between magic and the Morphin Grid in the Power Rangers universe can be quite confusing. Regardless, the Quasar Sabers remain among Power Rangers’ coolest and strongest swords more than two decades later.

4 Magi Staff From Power Rangers Mystic Force

Used by the core Mystic Force Rangers.

While magic has existed in the Power Rangers universe since the very first season – Rita Repulsa was a witch after all – it was only in Power Rangers Mystic Force that magic was put front and center. If the Morphin Grid could explain basically any powers or weapons, the possibilities for what magic could do in a Power Rangers season were endless. As a result, the Mystic Force Rangers rank high in the list of most powerful Power Rangers teams. The same applies to their weapons, especially the Magi Staff. Not only could they be used as regular close-range weapons, but they could also conjure things like water, electricity, and fire.

3 Saba From Mighty Morphin Power Rangers

Used by the Mighty Morphin White Ranger.

Mighty Morphin White Ranger with Saba

Everything about the original Green Ranger is iconic, but Tommy Oliver’s most powerful Mighty Morphin form is the White Ranger. Zordon said that the White Light was going to create a Power Ranger stronger than the Green Ranger, which puts in perspective just how powerful the White Ranger was. Part of the White Ranger’s strength came from Saba, a magical, intelligent sword that tied Tommy to his new Zord, the White Tiger. Saba would often give Tommy some pieces of advice during a fight, and it was the best possible replacement for the Dragon Dagger. After disappearing following the Command Center’s explosion, Saba returned decades later in “Dimensions in Danger.”

2 Dino Master Saber From Power Rangers Dino Fury

Used by the Dino Fury Red Ranger.

The Green Morphin Master and the Dino Master Saber

Power Rangers Dino Fury may be one of the newest Power Rangers seasons, but it included what is arguably the strongest weapon in the franchise. Following Lord Zedd’s return and the destruction of Rafkon, the Power Rangers were unsure whether they could save the universe. Even the Master Morphers, guardians of the Power Rangers multiverse, were afraid of what could happen. The Green Master Morpher gifted the Rangers with the Dino Master Saber, which could only be used as a last resort. The Dino Master Saber could absorb the powers of all Dino Fury Zords and combine them into one ultimate attack.

1 Savage Sword From Power Rangers Lost Galaxy

The sword that should never be used.

Power Rangers Lost Galaxy's Savage Sword

Considering how special and rare the Quasar Sabers were said to be at the beginning of Lost Galaxy, it was very surprising when the show introduced the Savage Sword. According to the Lost Galaxy Pink Ranger, the Savage Sword is more powerful than all the five Quasar Sabers combined. If the combined powers of the Quasar Sabers from Mirinoi can even bring someone back to life, the extent of the Savage Sword’s abilities is arguably immeasurable. Power Rangers didn’t show much of this sword, but it was responsible for the death of the Pink Ranger. The Savage Sword could absorb any form of energy or impact.
